El Camino seems to me like a soft and significantly downgraded version of a Killswitch Engage album. As for a rock band this alternative style makes them more accessible for the mainstream public, but rock bands shouldn't try to change their style in order to be popular in my opinion. To be honest the soft sound and the lyrics give me quite a meaningless vibe in general. Some of the heavier songs are fun but there's not really something I like about the album as a whole.

Carolus Rex is the sixth studio album of heavy metal band Sabaton. With their iconic frontman Joakim Brodèn they became one of the biggest metal bands to date, headlining Wacken multiple times. To be honest I didn't really understand what the album is about, apart from that I hear a lot of words in a row about tripping, bitches and racist slurs. It was very hard to understand. Songs like Venetia about playing with a pussy and Secure The Bag about gang life are ... read more
In his third full-length studio album Nothing Was The Same, Drake shifts his style to display somewhat more tender emotions. The artwork, split between the original and deluxe versions of the album, displays this very well. This pure and tender display of introspection makes the songs easier to sympathise with than the previous records, which had a more distantial ... read more
In GO:OD AM (the title means good morning) the recently passed Mac Miller tells about his ways of dealing with struggles in life. From time to time he mumbles as if his jaw is numb from the drugs, which is a fun mix-up and sets a relaxed and somewhat depressed mood. The lyrics are often about sex, drugs and parties. You need to see through the explicit language a bit to discover the artist's lyrical qualities.
The album starts out very slow and sleepy with Doors. Then the wake up alarm goes in ... read more
