Sufjan Stevens & Lowell Brams - Aporia

Nothing sounds especially bad on here but it's just so boring... nothing happens at all. Just sounds like the leftover beats that weren't good enough for The Age of Adz. Again, nothing bad, but just very uneventful.

I have some mixed feelings on this album. I really wanted to love it for obvious reasons but I just wish the track list was a bit more consistent.

The tape starts out relatively decent with “Deep Pockets” and “When To Say ... read more

Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake

It's mind-boggling how popular this album is, considering the mediocrity of many of the tracks on Eternal Atake. Though it progressively gets better and better, the garbage at the beginning of this album is insurmountably bad. "Baby Pluto," "Lo Mein," "Pop," and "You Better Move" all have generic trap beats, disgusting lyrics, and boring flows.

Despite the slow start, however, the album does get decent in the latter half. Once you get to "I'm ... read more
