An entirely flawless album to me. I found this album at the perfect time and it shaped my musical taste for years after.
If they had cut out a few of the atmospheric tracks, I would have rated it even higher. Some great tracks here, but some just aren't for me and keep it from being a truly stand out album.
Not the sound I want out of this band. I don't expect another "Is This It", but this doesn't even seem like they are trying anymore.
Not as impressive of a solo debut as I was hoping for from him, but I don't think it's as bad as most critics are saying it is.
The derivativeness of the sound doesn't bother me at all, and I've found myself coming back to it quite often. However, I'm worried this one might get lost in the shuffle as 2013 moves on.
Even though it's a change in direction from the beloved Merriweather Post Pavillion, it's still a great album. I've enjoyed it more with each listen.
One of the most fun and anthemic rock records of 2012. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able put out another album that matched the quality of their debut.
Didn't like the previous album, but I love this one start to finish. One of my initial favorite albums of 2012.
