beautiful dream pop shoegaze track, i dont know how i discovered it but its really good
one of the greatest video games of all time combined with an incredible fucking soundtrack
lil ugly mane does not miss dude. this is a pretty freaky album with incredible beat switches, lyricusm, and instrumentals.
believe it or not, frontier psychiatrist is a major part of my childhood, and when i became a music nerd as i am now, i was surprised to see that it was a top 103 album of all time. obviously i had to listen to it in full, and i am very very happy with it. extremely lush sample-heavy production with a very interesting concept.
it feels like if portishead was also lauryn hill but the second half was pretty boring for me
im so fucking happy i listened to this
i have never listened to earl sweatshirt aside from a couple odd future tracks but this was fucking incredible. dark and abstract instrumentals, crisp flow, deadpan lyricism, and great features. this is probably my favourite hip hop record ive heard in a while.
holy fuck dude
this is an eclectic genre bending masterpiece, combining trip hop, abstract hip hop, and many more genres. it has an incredible surrealist paranoid vibe that is unheard by my ears. and somehow for a 19 track album, it did not lag a single bit. fucking masterpiece of an album.
angry, political, and unapologetically woke as fuck. toxicity is one of the most widely renowned metal albums in music history, and for good reason because its fucking great. an incredible inspiration to the genre, and an incredibly relevant political album.
holy moly
this was an extremely spiritual experience (i suppose it is spiritual jazz). my interpretation of this album was that it was a concept album about a relationship. specifically about reconciling, finding oneself, and self-love. so, there are 4 nearly completely instrumental tracks, with each title of the track giving insight into the storyline of the album.
track one represented an acknowledgement of a problem in the relationship. track two represented an end or resolution to that ... read more
part whatever of listening to a random album from the top 200 user: so, my dad is a pretty big bob dylan fan, and since i was listening to albums from the top 200 i might as well listening to this. i went on a walk in the rain for the length of this album and it was an extremely atmospheric experience. at times i found the music to sound pretty uplifting, only for me to listen to the lyrics and it would be sad and lonely. anyway, i didnt have the highest expectations but i was presently ... read more
this is an incredible emo album, its got some cool art rock elements in it, its got some nasally whiny vocals (perfect for midwest emo) and its got some great angsty tracks.
WOOOOO part 5 of listening to a random album from the top 200 to expand my taste: holy shit this is some of the funnest music ive heard in YONKS bro. im giving this a 100 because there is not a single bad song on this masterpiece of a release.
this was really really really fucking good. i havent listened to shoegaze in a fat minute but im now willing to get back into it because of this brilliant album
much more psychedelic than any other grunge record ive listened to which i love, it really incorporated metal (specifically sludge and doom) which i enjoy. bonus points for my mother playing the music video when i was growing up (it rewired my brain chemistry)
part 4 of listening to a random album from the top 200 that i havent listened to: people have been hyping this album up and HOLY SHIT its worth it
part 3 of listening to a random album in the top 200 user score: this was soo cool and dark. ive only recently been listening to hip hop a little more and this was really cool.
