everyone did their thing except combs, literally anyone wouldve been better
production is insane, lyrics are thoughtful, great balance between flow and meaning. the saul williams in mental was really fucking cool too
nothing about this album is predictable. love the experimenting from peggy and this is def one of my favorite albums oat
feels super hazy but clear at the same time, vocals melt into the instruments but still stand out. Light Upon The Surface is a must listen!!
Love the Memphis vibe on this, and the features all did their thing. The beats are so fucking hype aswell
This was one of my favorite listens in a while and was my first real introduction to Jean Dawson, something i've never really heard either but this was a great discovery
GREAT production, sharp rhymes, poetic lyricism — a lot of this album blends together, but Falling out the Sky really stands out, that track alone makes this album a lot more special to me
Captures Deftones at their best, heavy atmosphere balanced with melody. Chino's performance is amazing
and the riffs r fucking awsome
best representation of the sound Deftones has built imo. White pony seems like their signature style but I dont think its their best
