I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. My aunt lived in Columbus, Nebraska, which was about two hours away. One day, me and my dad drove down to Columbus to see my aunt. This was right after Tom Petty died, and the oldies station in Fremont (halfway between Omaha and Columbus) was running a Tom Petty marathon. That drive gave me a deep appreciation for Petty's music.
