Ich habe mich gewundert, weshalb auf Deezer nur 13 Songs auf der Platte sind. Es liegt anscheinend daran, dass alle Songs, bei denen Fler mitgewirkt hat, nicht mehr verfügbar sind. Auf jeden Fall finde ich, dass Album nicht gut gealtert ist, aber es mir direkt den Vibe der frühen 2000er gibt, die ich noch ein bisschen miterleben durfte.

Wie ich bei "Görlitzer Park" erwähnt hatte, ist hier der ganze Humor gelandet, der auf dem Haupt-Release zu kurz kam. Beim Hören des ersten Tracks dachte ich kurz, dass es ich hierbei doch um ein Konzept-Album handeln könnte. Joa, ich lag falsch. Die Story-Telling Parts finden sich lediglich auf Track 1 und 9, sonst ist der Rest unabhängig der "Geschichte" rund um die Geschehnisse in der U8.

Die Parallelen zu "Hurra die Welt geht unter" sind definitiv gegeben, doch ist diese Platte im Vergleich deutlich ernster. Es kommt einem so vor, als ob ein Großteil des üblichen Humors herausgefiltert wurden, welcher dann auf das Album zum Album gewandert ist. I can see the overarching story, but especially in the middle part, I just don't get the connection to the main theme of the LP. After my first listen, I saw this album as a mixed bag. First I thought, this was gonna be a mixed bag, but the second part of the LP really stood out to me. Most of the tracks are rather short, but this doesn't impair the experience in any way. The Rolling Stones cover came unexpected, but it's pretty well done.

Poppy continues, what she teased on her last record and it's quite nice. Her voice works really well on the heavier music.

Ooh, Heavy! Well, not really, but at least the last three tracks. The album itself is nothing too special, but the songs are nice. The rock and metal-influences in the last tracks definitely lift this LP on another level.

As I am not a native English speaker, I usually don't get the lyrics at my first few listens. So did I this time. The music is, mostly, pretty heavy. I enjoyed the first part, but the track is just overloaded in my opinion; there happens just way too much for my taste. At first, I was reluctant to listening to this LP, because I thought WARGASM was some sort of weird Crossover Band, but I'm glad I finally jumped over my shadow. The album surprised me with its energy. I didn't expect Fred Durst sounding so well on this.

I like the rock influences on some tracks. Sadly, the LP hasn't much to offer and most of the tracks are just pointless; it's light fare. After I heard the lead single, I didn't expect too much, but the album is slightly better. "TO THE FLOWERS" and "RAINBOWS" are the highlights of this LP, but apart from that, the album has nothing more to offer. What I am missing, are the awesome guitar riffs. Instead, we got some weird sounding synths, that ruin the mood. I mean, they managed to do right that in some tracks, but this is lacking so much.
