So far, I only listened to the re-released 1989, and it just didn't convince me. I didn't plan to listen to TTPD, but the hype was so huge and the Swifties I know, love the LP, so I gave it a chance. I don't really like it. Most of the tracks just didn't stick with me, as they are so slow and uneventful. The whole thing sounds a bit too similar for my taste.

Warum tu ich mir das eigentlich an? Dem Album fehlt es absolut an Charakter. Alles wirkt so austauschbar. Die Texte wirken sehr gezwungen und sind teilweise echt unangenehm. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen YouTuber-Alben, die ich bisher gehört habe, dreht sich hier nicht alles um Fame, Party und Mädels, was doch mal eine angenehme Abwechslung war. Mit "Kopf gegen Herz" kommt zum Ende doch noch ein Lied, das den Wohlfühl-Sound des Albums bricht.

Fun, short EP. The wall of noise on some tracks overwhelmed me on my first listen, but once I got into it, the EP is pretty fun. I really like, that they broke with the sound of "Hesitation Marks".

I like the more electronic approach. The intro is a bit weird, but it lines up quite good with "Copy of A". I don't get, why "Everything" has one of the worst scores on the track list.

That slips… uh slaps, I mean. Ok, at least the first half slaps. The first five tracks are awesome. The second half lacks impact. Particularly, the two instrumental tracks and "Head Down" withdraw the momentum, the first five tracks had built up.

Nice ambient album, that is, with a runtime of nearly two hours, almost too long for my taste. I liked the third chapter (I'll just call them like this) the most, because it feels the most intense, especially the last four tracks. The most recognizable track is probably "34 GHOSTS IV", thanks to Lil Nas X.

"Year Zero" is a concept album, that plays in a dystopian world. Only by listening to the album, the depth of the story isn't easily observable as you have to do some research on their AR-game (I have no idea if it's still online). Anyway, the story has additionally a sharp political undertone, that I didn't even notice until my last time listening. This album is great, but absolutely overseen by many people.

With this more mainstream approach, Nine Inch Nails paved their way to a new era. It still has the typical characteristics of a NIN release. The themes of the tracks aren't as dark as on their previous releases, but it still hits at the right spot from time to time. It's funny how the first track becomes a FIFA track halfway through.

I'm usually not a fan of reheated tracks (E. g. "Something I Can Never Have" or "The Becoming"), but these reimagined versions are great and at times even more enjoyable than the original. The new non-instrumental track "And All That Could Have Been" hits right in the feelings. I just noticed after a few listens, that the time signature changes throughout the track multiple times, what is also an awesome element.

With "Broken", Nine Inch Nails started their nightmarish run, that will finally culminate in "The Downward Spiral". The sound design is effective, especially the intro sets the tone very well. The emotions, or mostly the pure anger, that is delivered in the tracks, lift this EP on another level.

Someone has written, that this LP is upbeat, bright, and funky. Did I listen to the wrong album? In my view, the LP stands out with its more sinister and dark electronic sound. I love most of the tracks, but tracks 5, 6, 8 and 9 are definitely the 'weakest' parts.

Inhaltlich macht das Duo genau dort weiter, wo man bei "#Zwilling" aufgehört hat. Mir gefällt es, wie mehrfach im Laufe des Albums gesagt wird, wie krass die Beats sind, während sich mir beim Hören dieser die Nackenhaare aufstellen. Nach den ersten fünf Songs habe ich wirklich gedacht, dass es ein ganz nettes Album werden könnte, aber nach "Wer du wirklich bist", ging es bergab. I did not expect that hardbass part on track 5. The anger is almost unsettling, but it's a bit sad, that I literally can't understand a single word. Anyway, this slaps.

Mit dem Hardbass Part habe ich absolute nicht gerechnet. Die Wut, die in der Platte steckt, ist echt aufreibend, jedoch verstehe ich erlichgesagt kein Wort lol.
