omg this was so fucking badijwojdwpdjlwdjiejli/c..........................
Oh sorry I fell asleep on my laptop because this shit IS SO BORING

RAYE - Live at Montreux Jazz Festival
80

A spectacular performance from RAYE and her big band. Her vocals are fucking insane!!! I loved the energy and the arrangement of this album. However, ending every song so dragged out and dramatic made it exhausting and lost some of the special sparkle. I also didn't love her constant commentary while she was doing this, like gurl stop pulling me out of the moment. But yea over all, pretty awesome!

Bladee - Eversince
70

This is like Gluee but better. Thanks Bladee

Favs: Lovenote, Xd Out, Sick, Sugar, Skin

Blood Orange - Negro Swan
91

One of my favourite albums :)

Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
85

Hit It and Quit it so good I only hit it and never quit it or something

PinkPantheress - Heaven knows
67

I really love the fusions of genres on this LP. It's truly something magical! Many tracks pulled me in to this new sonic world, and I wanted to stay there. However, I kept being pulled out when I noticed the songs ended up all being...about the same thing? It got a bit repetitive with the same energy narrative-wise. The beats were pretty slick though.
Shout out Sam Gellaitry on Blue; I can spot that dude's production a mile away!

Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence
77

Well crafted, and well performed. Lana is a master of her own aesthetic, and she creates quite the toxic desire-drunk atmosphere. Big fan of the way space was utilised on the LP, allowing depths for the abusive and dizzying themes to exist physically. A few songs fell short, like nicotine scented filler amongst the rest of the tracks. But most of them were captivating and fantastic!

JAY-Z - The Blueprint

I love girls girls girls girls, girls I do adooorrree

Elliott Smith - XO
76

This doesn't always hit for me, but still a pretty solid album

Nelly Furtado - Loose
82

Man I fucking love Timbaland's production.

Geordie Greep - The New Sound
90

This was fun!! Fantastic instrumentation from a talented composer. I loved the raw and flexible vocal performance from Greep on this LP. These songs were so obnoxious and frivolous, which was such a refreshing sound. However, it got a bit extensive at some moments by dragging on. Like Bongo Season could've been dropped off the track list completely.
Overall, super cool!

Bladee & Ecco2k - Amygdala
99

yea this song and its clip are fucking goated

Beyoncé - B'Day
93

YES! GET THE FUCK UP LET'S GO!!! PUT ON YOUR FREAKUM DRESS!!! IT'S B'DAAAAAAAYYYY!!!!!

Ecco2k - E
95

I love this! It is so unique and immersive, like it has its own aesthetic. Honestly it does. Killer sound design, beautiful and introspective lyrics, and cool airy vocals. Peroxide is something else man...

Deftones - Around the Fur
82

Lotion is so fucking good

Bladee & Ecco2k - Crest
91

This was like swimming in glitter glue, but for my ears.

Ok no but seriously this was pretty incredible. The production on this album is BEAUTIFUL!!! I mean compared to Bladee's debut Gluee, we really have upgraded in sound quality. So many sparkly, mesmerising synths are used throughout this whole project, which really create the base of it's atmosphere. That and the vocal deliveries from both Bladee's floaty autotune, and Ecco2k's airy melodies. The lyricism on these ... read more

SOPHIE - OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES
95

Wow.
This was so so cool! I really appreciate the aggression and confidence behind the album's sound. It was quite a refreshing listen. SOPHIE has introduced the world to new and innovative music. I really enjoy the whole project, but I will mention my two highlights at the moment. Pretending honestly awakened something in me. The cinematic delivery and overwhelming layers of SOUND was something else. It was like experiencing a tsunami of emotion and colours, like all my feelings put into ... read more

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk

Sorry for ever listening to anything ever before this album.
This made me feel like I was a forgotten CD player that had been pulled out of the attic after 20 years of neglect. Someone put my favourite CD in me, that I then fall in love with, but also I'm having an existential crisis the whole time.
