Could care less about the tracks at the end of the album but Kendrick does a pretty damn good job with this album. It feels more like a merging of both To Pimp A Butterfly and mad city, although this album will never be as good at its predecessors. Good album.
This album is horrendous. The real problem is the artist is actually talented, he just can't sing. His singing completely ruins and tears up the album.
And surely you can argue "well, maybe you just don't like the genre", and maybe that's true, but maybe that's because a lot of the artists have no natural singing ability and it results in horrible results. This guy would be a great rhythm guitarist for any band yet he chooses to make solo work and continues to be unrecognized.
This album is one of those that grow on you, so expect change.
I feel like this album probably would have been longer if there wasn't just 23 minutes of content, but nonetheless this album was a pretty enjoyable experience but at certain times it felt like it lacked. Maybe its the lack of content, I'm not sure, but overall the experience of this album wasn't one that I hated. Maybe a future listen I might change the rating a bit.
This album is a lot to digest, but it has to be one of the greatest rap albums of all time. Kanye West shows his true talent and I also really like the sampling he used in this album.
why is this GOOD why is this GOOD I LOVE DAVE GROHL I LOVE DAVE GROHL I LOVE DAVE GROHl
Aside from a couple tracks that can be boring at times, this album is really good, especially tracks like Everlong which are really emotional and powerful tracks. Dave grohl is an amazing songwriter who truly knows how to make a melody. Good album.
Yeah this album isn't that good. I yawned a lot during this, and the only song that keeps this album up to a 55 is Aeroplane. Everything else on this album isn't that good imo.
This album is great. Kendrick is a very creative and intuitive rapper and he knows how to make an album stick out. This album is tremendous, especially when it released at the time.
This album is an easy 10/10. Kendrick Lamar is not only an amazing rapper, but a great storyteller who emphasizes what he truly cares about in this album. It's one of his greatest albums and for good reason.
when i listened to this at first i was confused, but then when "Two Size Queen Black Guys" went on, i started to get rapidly turned on. Can someone PLEASE explain?
Such an original album with its own ring and style. Love it. There is so much fun to be made while listening to this album.
Pure Thrash Metal. This whole album is an eargasm for guitar players. Great album.
Really interesting album. I enjoyed what I heard. The singer is very compassionate when he sings, and there is a lot of songs that flow well.
Has its low points, but its very high points are whats carrying the rating to an 80. This album is really good when its good, and thats the reason I like it.
The songs are a little too slow for me, but there is a couple songs on this album that I can enjoy. Overall pretty mid experience.
Don't understand the appeal of the album. There are a few tracks that I can enjoy, but the songs are really repetitive and to me its just boring indie rock. That being said, the songs aren't bad, there just mid.
One of the most boring breakup albums I have ever heard. The "good" tracks on this album are mid at best. Don't waste your time unless you like tiktok music.
