They take everything about their studio album and perfect it. The brass arrangements are off the charts this time. A lot more brighter spots in tone and I love how they occasionally dive into more latin-tinged grooves here. Instantly catchy and memorable and the opener serves as the perfect litmus test for anyone that is unsure of a full listen.
Essentials: EVERY SONG especially We Will Fall Together
This guy refuses to miss. Sam Gellaitry showing his versatility and individuality with his best project to date.
The first half was really lacking. That segue into the distorted second half was insanely good however. Ties up the whole song and now it grows on me with every listen. Excited for what Steve Lacy comes out with in terms of a full body of work
This literally is just a slower more atmospheric version of Mystery. Bit disappointing ngl. Transition sounds fire
Very decent sounding album. Though I wish I liked it more. The speed metal aspects of this album are not for me.
