Damn, 100 followers in 2 weeks?
To signify this event, I'm going to be reviewing one of my favorite albums, R. Kelly's I Admit- I mean A$AP Rocky's Long.Live.A$ap. The production on this thing is out of this world. Live.Love.A$ap already had some of the best psychedelic production I had heard, and this just took it to a whole other level. So this album was pretty good but then I started to hear the REALLY good songs, those being 1train, Ghetto Symphony, Fashion Killa. 1train literally sounds ... read more
Ok it's not that bad, but it's not good either
The production on most of these is fantastic, the features sound amazing, but this guy's voice ... sucks A S S. Why does it sound like an AI generated Justin Bieber? WHY??? Normally I can look past this, but it ruins the song a lot. Like the song "You Thought" was really great until the dude opened his mouth. Anyway besides that everything is really enjoyable.
Favs: UUHH, Sweet, Impossible, Stranger

Cudi was something special straight from the beginning
Never really knew this type of rap was a style until this, and it sounds amazing. The probably is it only sounds amazing when it sounds amazing. Cudi has a few really really good highs on here and everything else is just decent. I feel like later into the album it gets a little cheesy (Up Up & Away), which I get because it's 2009, but it still doesn't excuse it. Overall it was a great listen, Cudi's voice sounds great, and the ... read more
No fucking way this was hyped up to be better than Donna
By the 4th track here (In The Bible) I wanted to fall asleep, the 4th track on Donda ... was HURRICANE. HOW IS THIS A COMPETITION??? Ok Donda comparisons aside, this album is one of the most boring things I've ever heard. The mosquito that has a concert in my ear every night when I'm trying to fall asleep sounds better than this. And Drake really had to make it 21 songs with an album cover that makes me wanna drill my eyes out. I wonder ... read more
Well this is gonna surprise a lot of people
This is one of my favorite albums of all time. I really didn't listen to music except if something like Lady Gaga was playing on the radio. Anyway, I discovered this around 6th grade, and Jesus Christ was I blown away. The instrumentals, the vocals, everything, IS SO DAMN CATCHY. This is one of the only albums where I play a song, and I'm like "well shit I gotta listen to the whole thing now." Will some people think this is musically the ... read more
Really fucking inconsistent, but the highs make up for the lows
So because of how fantastic some of the songs are and how dogshit the others are, I'm gonna do something I've never done before and go through each track and talk about it. So if you're really lazy like me, just skip to the bottom.
What We Talkin' About
Easily one of the better ones on here. Love that vibe beat that just makes you feel like going on a late night drive. The lyrics aren't anything special and Jay-Z just repeats the ... read more
Time to make the British mad
As much as I love the production on a lot of these songs, the lyrics are so damn borrring. The clap on my ball cheeks could make better "poetry" than whatever this is. I mean they aren't bad, just really uninspired. I feel like songs like Location are the perfect example of this, because the best bar is literally "I'm captain I lead the army". From then on it just becomes super inconsistent, with the highs being Screwface Capital, Lesley, and ... read more
When World War 3 starts, we are using this as a hype album
Damn I did not expect this to be this good. How the fuck are these guys not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame? In it's only 8 songs, "The Number Of The Beast" contains vocals and instruments very few other metal albums can top. I was about to give this like an 83, but then I heard Hallowed By Thy Name and almost gave this an 100 immediately. That song is single-handily one of my favorite metal songs of all time, and it's even ... read more
While not as powerful as "The Cool", Lupe's debut still sets the highest standard possible for jazz rap
The feeling you get from listening to this is indescribable. It makes life seem slow and peaceful while telling you some of the deepest things the world has to offer. The lyrics are raw, but clever, while the somewhat dated production still sounds amazing. The features were a little risky but worth it, and the execution gives this like 10 points because Lupe just knows how to ... read more
I GO HARD IN THE MOTHERFUCKING PAINT
One of the first modern trap albums. Even though No Hands and Hard In Da Paint are obviously the best songs, there are some others that are genuinely great and others that sound like actual dogshit. But just because an album was the first to do something doesn't automatically make it a classic. That being said, if you don't bump No Hands at every party how are you human?
Favs: Hard In Da Paint, No Hands, Karma
Least Favs: G-Check

WHAT THE FUCK I DONT REMEMBER IT BEING THIS GOOD. I listened to this again for some fun and little every song sounds 2x better. Why do the best artists have to die?
——————————
Original Review:
Holy cow this was unexpectedly amazing, gotta stop discovering these artists after they die
I had never really listened to Nipsey before this, but damn that intro and "Loaded Bases" genuinely made me ... read more
This album is fucking awesome
I think you have to be a drummer to fully appreciate songs like Bat Country, which is the best song here. But other songs here just sound amazing as well, Blinded in Chains makes me feel like I'm riding through hell on a motorcycle. Overall, the instrumentals are at an all time high for the band, and while the vocals do have a habit of being annoying sometimes, they sound the best they ever have for the band.

Alright, so I have listened to Chance since his XXL appearance, and I really liked Acid Rap and Coloring Book. When he announced his debut album in 2019, I was so damn happy. And when it came out, I popped on my earbuds into my iPhone 8, opened Spotify, and played it. But something was weird, the album sounded ... different ... perhaps a little more experimental maybe? ...
WHAT THE FUCK AM I LISTENING TO
It was dogshit. All of it.

It’s fun and happy
I mean Chance’s voice can get really fucking irritating really fast, but looking past that everything here is really enjoyable. The beats are fantastic, the lyrics are decent, and the features are really good which was risky considering they make up half the album. But that Young Thug song was god awful, but that’s the only terrible low.
Favs: All We Got, No Problems, Juke Jam, Angels, Smoke Break, Blessings
Least Favs: Mixtape
He really did make Graduation
Drunk and Hot girls and Barry Bonds are bops even though they are the weaker songs on this album, and every other song is amazing. Nothing much else to say, other than Homecoming is one of the best things I’ve heard. Bittersweet Poetry is really good too.
Favs: Good Morning, Champion, I Wonder, Flashing Lights, Homecoming, Bittersweet Poetry, Good Life
Least Favs: Barry Bonds
This??? This was this shit that 50 wanted to compete with Kanye??? This is A S S
By the 12th track, Fully Loaded Clip, I already wanted to shoot myself in the face. You wanna know what the 12th track on Graduation was? HOMECOMING. Yeah this man really had one good album and then fell the fuck off. One of the most overrated rappers of all time.
Favs: I Get Money
Least Favs: Fully Loaded Clip, Fire, Movin On Up
Metro showing DJ Khaled how to drop good producer albums
Damn a lot of songs here slapped. Chris Brown as always hopped on a fantastic song and almost fucking ruined it. A$AP Rocky delivered as always and Takeoff came on the track like a fucking tank out of nowhere. Travis and Don Toliver delivered as well. Metro really does bring out the best in the trap game right now.
Favs: Superhero, Raindrop, Creepin, Too Many Nights, Feel The Fiyaaaah, Trance, Umbrella
Least Favs: Lock On Me
This sounds like if Queen Elizabeth fucked Bowser and had a baby on a microphone
But it somehow sounds good
This is what Yeezus tried to sound like. It sounds like nothing I’ve ever heard before, and I hated it at first. But damn, some of this shit slaps. No doubt I don’t love it all, but songs like Double Helix and Hacker hype me the fuck up.
Favs: Get Got, The Fever (Aye Aye), Double Helix, I’ve Seen Footage, Hacker
Least Favs: Lost Boys
One of the most influential records of all time
Without 808’s, Drake, The Weeknd, probably Travis, and everyone else who has ever used auto tune pretty much wouldn’t be the same. This album really isn’t like anything I’ve heard before, probably just because most pop rap albums I’ve heard are a lot happier. But Kanye really takes you into his mind and shows you what he is going through.
