I remember hating this the first time, then I listened to it when I was sad
Never listened to much Indie, but this really stuck out as something special. It's surprisingly catchy while still being depressing and fun to listen to. All 3 of them sound great and if their next album is even better than this than they are pretty much set.
Favs: $20, True Blue, Revolution 0, Satanist, Anti-Curse
Least Fav: Leonard Cohen
Fuck the critic score
This shit is amazing. Every song has some of the best trap production I've heard and the amount of quality on songs like 90210 and Pray 4 Love is insane.
Favs: Oh My Dis Side, 3500, 90210, pray 4 Love, Nightcrawler, Impossible, Maria I'm Drunk, I Can Tell, Apple Pie
Least Favs: Piss On Your Grave, Flying High
Jesus this dude doesn't miss
Every single song here is completely different and they all sound perfect together. Kendrick's storytelling here on songs like Duckworth and XXX is so fucking good. Someone even told me I can listen to this backwards, so I'm gonna believe them because it sounds legit enough.
Favs: DNA, Feel, Pride, Love, XXX, Fear, Duckworth
Least Favs: Humble, Loyalty
How did this dude make him album into a whole ass movie?
The whole thing tells a story and the songs sound good alone as well. Even Poetic Justice sounds good, and Drakes on it (although Drake was still making pretty good music at the time). Every song here hits, and Kendrick somehow got me to enjoy a 12 minute song.
Favs: Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe, Backseat Freestyle, good kid, Swimming Pools
Least Favs: Sherane
A better Late Registration
I went into this with no expectations and when I heard Introvert they immediately went through the roof. Somehow, each of the songs met those expectations and the whole damn album slapped. This, Be, and Miseducation are probably the best jazz-rap albums out there right now.
Favs: Introvert, Woman, I Love You I Hate You, Standing Ovation, Point and Kill, Miss Understood
Least Favs: Rollin' Stone
Why pay for therapy when I have this?
Half of these songs hype me the fuck up while the other half are some of the deepest songs I've heard, how you doing this Kenny? Every time I listen to songs like Father Time and Mother I Sober, I just get cum cums in my tum tum.
Favs: United In Grief, N95, Die Hard, Father Time, Count Me Out, Savior, Mother I Sober
Least Favs: Rich Spirit, Silent Hill
Probably the greatest hip-hop album of all time
Every song here is literally perfect, there are so many genres packed into here and Lauryn Hill still made it sound like a gift from god. Nothing else really to say.
Favs: Lost Ones, Ex-Factor, Doo Wop, Final Hour, I Used To Love Him, Every Ghetto, Every City
Least Favs: N/A
Top 3 Kanye
This is so damn underrated and I don't know why. Other than H.A.M, there is literally no bad song here. Even Who Got Stop Me is really fun to listen to despite being kinda outdated. Also the highs are really fucking good, Murder to Excellence is a top 5 Kanye song while Fellas In Paris is top 20. Everything here is just straight quality from two of the best to ever to do it.
Favs: No Church In The Wild, Lift Off, Fellas In Paris, New Day, Murder To Excellence, Why I Love You, ... read more
Oh my god
I heard it was bad, but I didn't think it was gonna be quite as cancerous as this. Every song sounds like a 6 year old made the beats on Garageband using royalty free latin samples while middle aged dudes voice crack into a microphone. I don't think my ears will recover from will.i.am's vocals on Double D'z.
Favs: N/A
Least Favs: I don't feel like listing 90% of the songs on the album
Drake should have released this in his favorite month, June
It's not bad, just really inconsistent. Songs like Pussy & Millions and BackOutsideBoyz are bangers, and then Treacherous Twins sounds like a chant at a Pride Parade. Never thought I would hear Drake "twisting up his fingers for his twin". The money I would pay to see that song being made.
Favs: Rich Flex, BackOutsideBoyz, Spin Bout U, Pussy & Millions, More M's
Least Favs: Privileged Rappers, Treacherous Twins, ... read more
Not gonna lie it's not that bad
Young and Menace sounds like a Walrus ate a microphone and shit it back out, but there are genuinely good songs here even if it's their worst record.
Favs: Stay Frosty Royal Milk Tea, Hold Me Tight Or Don't, Wilson, Sunshine Riptide, Bishop's Knife Trick
Least Favs: Church, Heaven's Gate, Young and Menace
Music to put you to sleep
Drake really thought he was Beyonce and created the most boring dance record of the year. Then there is just Jimmy Cooks at the end showing you all the wasted potential of what the album could have been.
Favs: Sticky, Massive, Jimmy Cooks
Least Favs: Falling Back, Texts Go Green, Currents, Down Hill, Liability
REDUX REVIEW (97 ===> 100)
Yeah this is a 10/10 now
I relistened to this a couple of times and damn whatever kept me from rating it an 100 back then just went away. Probably the only punk album (Other than Infinity On High) where every song is fantastic and there are 0 skips.
Favs: House of Wolves, The Sharpest Lives, Welcome To The Black Parade, Dead!, Teenagers
Least Favs: N/A (Not counting Blood because it’s a hidden track)

It's basically a deluxe of MBDTF
It's pretty good and I don't know why he doesn't have most of these on Spotify, but it's still pretty inconsistent. G.O.O.D Friday is definitely the standout and one of the best Kanye songs I've heard, while other songs like Christian Dior Denim Flow, Don't Stop!, Power Remix, and Don't Look Down slap as well. Then you have songs like Take One For The Team which is basically a top tier Pusha T verse on a beat that sounds like if a 5 year old with down syndrome ... read more
Nah this ain't it
Don't get me wrong, it's not his worst album, but some of these songs just sound like inbred dolphins shitting into a mic. Sometimes this sounds really good (Guilt Trip), and other times it sounds really bad (Send It Up). Before anyone bashes me for not getting how experimental this is, it still sometimes sounds like shit.
Favs: Black Skinhead, Blood On The Leaves, Guilt Trip, Bound 2
Least Favs: On Sight, I'm In It, Send It Up
Holyyy this is underrated
I know a lot of people call Travis Scott, Future, Young Thug, and A$AP the pioneers of trap (which they are), but T.I. been doing it 10 years before. Every song here can either hype up your new bench PR or make you contemplate life during a drinking session. This deserves to be up there with Rodeo as the greatest trap albums of all time.
Favs: King Back, What You Know, Live In The Sky, Why You Wanna, Top Back, Stand Up Guy, You Know Who, Good Life, Bankhead

A modern classic
This dude is one of the most talented musicians on the planet right now. When I first discovered him I knew that he had to have had a perfect album of some sorts, and I'm so fucking glad I was right. The mixture of RnB and Soul is amazing, every song sounds better than the last, and he even somehow made The Game sound alright.
Favs: Heart Don't Stand A Chance, Put Me Thru, Am I Wrong, Parking Lot, Come Down, Silicon Valley
Least Favs: N/A
Now this is peak music
I remember first hearing this album on a plane ride as a 13 year old and I thought it was pretty good. Then I listened to it more and more and it just kept getting better. The production here is insane considering a fair amount of the beats used in this era were really boring outdated 90's beats. The lyrics and skits are just perfectly told, and Never Let Me Down is one of the greatest things I've ever listened to.
Favs: All Falls Down, Spaceship, Jesus Walks, Never Let ... read more
Ok I tried
I listened to this on about 5 different occasions, and while it did get better it's still really overrated. The highs on the album are REALLY good, but there are so many forgettable tracks here and it just sounds like a less gospel Donda. Ultralight Beam is also the most overrated song I've heard in my life, it has an extremely boring beat and it never really picks up.
Favs: Father Stretch My Hands, Waves, Wolves, No More Parties In LA, Fade, Saint Pablo
Least Favs: Ultralight Beam
