I can't even begin to describe the shock that this album left me in. Cool World is a prime example of dynamic consistency, which is a very hard thing to do, especially on a metal album.

Even though I loved their previous work, I feel like this LP recontextualizes all of their musical output as a buildup to this album. Screamo trully is the best genre ever created. At its worst is a little bit cringe, but still powerful. And at its best is all-consuming, soul crushing, magnificent, and emotionally scarring post-hardcore.
