This is actually very cute. The project exudes youth and freshness. That's a promising debut.
As expected ROSALÌA was the only thing worth listening for on this project but I still wanted to give a chance to Travis Scott. I always wanted to delve into his music since his sales are truly impressive but it's not starting off a good...
This thing isn't for me. I feel I'm listening to the same very good but very boring at last, beat for 1hour. None of the guest, except maybe Kali Uchis, could save this over monotonous album.
The marketing of this project is absolutely perfect. They chose the best songs as singles and put the ladies in awesome videos. It's been a long time since I haven't been this excited for a soundtrack.
Unfortunately, they really hit us with their best shot because none of the other songs present on this soundtrack come close to the singles (except maybe Experiment On Me).
The soundtrack bounces from heavy-produced agressive songs to bland slower songs. You could argue that it's cohesive with ... read more
That sway me more remix is an excellent idea. The energy that it has, wow.
The Birds of Preys' soundtrack is shaping up to be one of the best albums go the year. It's 3/3
So this is what happens when Hans Zimmer lets loose of his genius ? More, please.
A bit disappointed not gonna lie. I expect something bigger with more energy, more bangers, more up-tempos. The whole project feels convoluted and a bit messy, an anarchist version of Rainbow. The structures of the songs and the album make it hard to digest the ensemble of the project.
Clearly, she's never been happier and she's doing what she likes, you can tell, and so it's a hard to resist smiling and the music still good but I expected more.
She said the old Kesha was coming back but it's ... read more
Manic's first good single. I can't explain why but i like that mix between gossipy lyrics and country sonorities.
The definition of doing the job. It's simple but it works. Nothing groundbreaking, nothing that sticks out but nothing bad. The only reason I don't give this 70 is because of the step back from Revival which was a bit more energetic and less homogenous.
That being said, the album sounds really weak when you compare to her two albumless singles : Fetish and Bad Liar. Fetish washes the entirety of this album.
This is utterly boring. It's just not what I expect from her. I don't know who told her she was good at ballads but that person is not her friend. Maybe this EP is some sort of therapy for her; A try to mourn her dead career but I can't and won't consider this as her comeback. It's just too weak and to disappointing.
Please comeback properly CL, with good beats, good raps and a winning attitude.
I am now sure that, if given all the money she receives from her label, every member of Fifth Harmony could do better than this.
We really waited a while for this one but at the end, I think it was worth it.
Rita gave us what we asked from her : some fresh pop music and these times not many are doing it. No, it's not the most original music you'll hear but it does its job : it's fresh, it's up-beat, it's pop and most of all : it's full of hits: Your Song, Let You Love Me, Anywhere, Girls (yes, Girls which is a surprising grower. Cardi's verse is worth a listening) are all pop excellence.
If we look away from the singles ... read more
Not on the level of Tina Snow, even though I feel like both project were constructed similarly. It lacks one or two more bangers.
I'm so glad her Running Up freestyle was added. One of best "song".
