Although Gluey Porch Treatments will always hold a special place in my heart and therefore always be my favorite of the two, I believe that Ozma is just as good of an album, even being better than Gluey Porch Treatments in some ways, such as through how the overall quality between songs is more consistent. This is one of the heaviest, grimiest, slimiest albums I've ever listened to. The sound is very raw yet very refined at the same time, a sound which perfectly fits the atmosphere which the Melvins had set out to create with this album. The explosive drums perfectly compliment the album's crushing riffs, with King Buzzo's ghoulish vocals tying the whole thing together.
