Drug-fuelled hyper-narcissism and pure excess— in all the nost enjoyable ways.
This album put its hand on my shoulder in one of the hardest times of my life and told me to keep walking. I love it.
I Didn't Mean To Haunt You explores the grief imposed on those who are left behind by their loved ones, the meaning of life in the face of death, and the conflict brought to the surface by it all— hatred is the closest emotion to love.
The albums sound is tremendously grand, living up to the scale of its concepts, and Quadeca vocally outperforms himself on every ... read more
An hour long mosh pit that doesn't let you breathe, and just like it's inspiration, it's not for everyone. Even for its genre this is a uniquely obnoxious project, and that's the point, a party that never ends— and everyone is way too fucked up.
Quadeca has a rare potency in his songwriting. The deluxe reinforces what was already an amazing album.
It's almost confusing how well executed this was considering how pioneering it also was. The absolute realisation of exceptional talent and vision that we haven't seen since in the genre.
The Low End Theory is the most serious and dark album by the legendary Tribe, sometimes it can be a bit much, but it's always masterful and always necessary.

Music to float you off to somewhere far away, somewhere better than here.
As dark as it is beautiful. The tragedy of loss is only outweighed by the strength and love in perseverance, in this experimental masterpiece.
That's that real music man. Gorgeous, full of soul, artfully written. A must hear this year.
CARE FOR ME is one of the most emotionally in-touch pieces of art I've ever experienced. Saba's storytelling on this album is in a league of its own, his hooks are endlessly contagious and his instrumentals are beautifully haunting. This album will make you cry, dance, and dance while crying.
Some of his highest highs and lowest lows. Tracks like Hoodbyair, Different Day, and K Pop have such enthralling energy and make it look so easy for him, a trimmer record exploring these sounds fully could have been a career high, but this project is so.. so.. bloated. The cuts with Kendrick or a few standalones like We Need All Da Vibes are so out of touch it huuuurts, physical body cringe. Regardless, I can't pretend it wasn't a fun journey, and the leaks for this album were a great ... read more
