Incredible work. The best thing I have heard in this year so far.
Didn't change any of my opinion on J Cole. Solidly rapped and produced work. But Cole remains wildly overrated pen man in my opinion.
Mid. I expected it to be nothing special though. The sounds are generic as hell. Lyrics are nothing stand out.
A great and mostly over looked project of the East Coast Gangstar rap extraordinaire. Daughters is top 10 Nas song ever. Nas showed growth here. Beautiful.
This is no where near any of the Nas's recent King's disease trilogy run but still a great project. The first part was bit of a slog to go through. But the middle part was very good. Overall a well rounded project with some gem verses from the Esco.
A solid project from The Machine. But sadly I am not impressed. The Roc Merci verse was great. But overall Conway sounded bit uninspired and lost. Still the beats and his delivery saved the day. I wish the old Conway comes back soon.
A pure hip hop classic from a hungry beast tearing through the bars like flesh.

"I understand your sentiment. Kanye is a shell of his past self. Tbh he has been like this for a while. Cracks were pretty clear in Donda. His musical impulsiveness was pretty much showing in that album. But his recent past behaviors which were more enabled by a part of his fan base destroyed his artistry. Kanye was once genuinely good and I disagree with Unc FD bout this. I love Life of Pablo. FD showed TLOP as the first crack in Kanye's armour. Which I do not agree. I love that album. It was beautifully crafted and was elevated because of Kanye's vulnerability. Kanye lost all of it. Kanye is sadly washed now."
