welcome to vol 3 (I think) of random artists recommending me shit and this time, its from demura under the name of afterlife slave and tbh, this is great icl. there is some weaker spots tho especially in the first half like satellite and it isn't the most unique of ADnD tbh but there's still alot of really great tracks like ascension and flora so idrc. But yeah, its great
never was too much of a fan of bubblegum bass or hyperhop for that matter but this shit is pretty solid icl. there's definitely some great stuff on here like silver cross and I don't wanna know for example but some of the weaker tracks like blame it on your love and feburary 2017 have some pretty weak production that kinda ruin it a little bit sadly but its still a solid album tho icl
wanted to listen to more 60s related shit and I started here and its pretty good icl. I wanna be your dog and 1969 are great classics icl but ann is also pretty underrated as well along with it tbh along with the production and iggy's vocals being really good in general icl. the only weak track is really we will fall which is kinda their attempt at something similar to the doors's the end but more weak tbh but even then, still a good album
how tf has this not get a must hear bro, this shit is underrated as hell. the production is great, hynes's vocals are also great and its one of the only 80s inspired revival albums to actually be really great tbh. the only issue really is that there's only like one track that doesn't have features but the features are still great as well so idrc that much
better than dive and is actually pretty good surprisingly although tick tock is kinda weak icl. its pretty catchy as well as sweet throughout alot of the time with some really solid highlights like the closer doughnut and bitter sweet tbh even as someone who isn't too much of a fan of j-pop icl. but overall, pretty good album icl
desided to relisten to this shit and its pretty good icl with some good production tbh. it isn't the most memorable tho and storm crystals is kinda weak but even at its lowest its still pretty good especially skater although outside of that and three drums, the rest kinda doesn't live up to both of them sadly but still a good album tho
some really good stuff icl but compared to his debut, its kinda a downgrade. some of the production could've been a bit better and its too short even for an EP but even then its still pretty good tho especially liquid fairy corp
really underrated goth shit icl but some of the tracks like disappointing and down the rive could've been a bit better but otherwise a great album regardless especially tracks like don't look now tbh.
track ratings:

its pretty surprising how madonna of all people made this shit considering how unique it is compared to her OG 80s albums icl. While her 80s albums were also solid, its still nothing compared to ray of light. the production, her vocals and pretty much everything else is really unique and has aged pretty damn well especially for the late 90s. there's a couple of weaker tracks like shanti/ashtangi and mer girl but even at its lowest its great so idrc
only thing I really listened to from OPN was his chuck person eccojams album so I listened through this and its also really solid. idk what daniel did on physical memory and immanence but its really great icl especially the former although the title track is kinda weak and most of the other tracks on here don't really match to the same level as physical memory and immanence but its still really solid tho icl
a short little nu metal infused digital hardcore EP that is kinda like the transition point before tummyache and while its not as good as that album, its still is mostly pretty good although shove is kinda weak icl. butterflies and my head is spinnin' are really good highlights tho
its alright for the most part but the first half is kinda ehh. the second half isn't great either and the whole album is kinda a snoozefest but tracks 16-18 along with track 20 carry the album alot tbh and are good icl. Its just a bit snoozefest especially the first half but kinda overhated
not music is stereolab's last true album before their hiatus and it kinda feels like a B-sides to chemical chords tbh although a bit better. the production is pretty good and there's still a couple of really solid tracks like the silver sands remix but like chemical cords its kinda forgettable a good amount of the time but a bit better compared to that album so idc
haven't really listened to that much pulp so I listened through this and its just a good and sweet album for the most part icl. it kinda reminds me of blur's the ballad of darren but more chamber pop focused and there's some great stuff like got to have love and grown ups. Those tracks do kinda carry the album tho icl and it can be a bit of a snoozefest alot of the time but its still pretty good tho so idc
a good album for the most part but just not really for me. It doesn't really stand out too much for me in terms of sound compared to other indie shit outside of the vocals tbh but its still does kinda standout to some degree and there's a few really solid tracks like calm me down and baby don't dance so idc too much. its just not for me
I mean their not wrong, this is plain and ok ig. there's a couple good songs especially the first couple like trust and L.A but thats it really. the rest is kinda ehh and not that good especially blaze but even then I heard worse. idk why this is the first pharcyde album I reviewed tbh, its just plain
some great post hardcore shit tbh. the production is great, the vocals are great and there's alot of solid highs like back and forth along with what do U want me to say although gyroscope is kinda weak Icl but still a great album regardless. also, why is eight and a half minutes not eight and a half minutes like it makes no sense
solid production, solid vocals and pretty consistent for the most part but that's really about it. the only flaw is the unnecessary intermission along with some of the vocals on some of the tracks that could've been a bit better but that's about it really
