one of the better posthumous albums to be ever be released icl. the second half kinda a downgrade in terms of quality compared to the first half but its still better than most posthumous albums tbh especially with platinum plus which is insanely great btw
idk why I thought this shit was insanely overrated, it's great bro. some of the songs are a bit overrated tho like check the rhime but there's still insanely great shit like we've got jazz and show business so idrc
this shit is pretty overrated tbh but its still pretty fun to listen to and has a good amount of really solid highlights like von dutch and talk talk. its just not really for me and the intro is overrated as hell but its still pretty good tho. I just pefer charli way more compared to brat icl
not bad at all, just a kinda bland but ok french house album really. its not as bad as his later work tho but there's whatever the hell atomic food was (it just sounds like an early shitpost song to me tbh) but outside of that, its alright and thats about it. first two songs are pretty good tho
idk why the score is this low, its pretty good. sure, it doesn't standout too much production wise and its a bit forgettable at points but its still pretty good for the most part with the last two tracks being really solid icl. it just could've been a bit more memorable and thats it really
I mean its good ig but its not really solid either tbh. its a bit too corny for me and its not really that unique compared to other midwest emo albums tbh but there's still some really good tracks if u look hard enough. its just not for me tbh
haven't really listened to any non off the wall and thriller MJ album before this and its his final album before his death of all things and its pretty underrated surprisingly. its kinda dated tho especially with its production not to mention lost children being pretty weak as well as it being pretty lengthy and dragging on a bit but there's still some really solid and great highlights like you rock my world and break of dawn but after butterflies the second half kinda downgrades a ... read more
bro really predicted the whole tiktok 2020 indie style with that cover lmao. for the EP itself tho, the production could've been better but doctor is really solid so idrc. Outside of those things, nothing too special to say here but its good ig
its pretty solid ig and its definitley a solid follow up to doolittle ig but there isn't that much to say about it outside of velouria being a really great highlight and thats it. still pretty enjoyable tho despite the last couple of tracks outside of havalina being pretty weak but its still a pretty solid album so idc. there's just better 90s albums than this tbh
yeah this shit is easily one of the best albums of the whole 70s (I know its a rerelease of demos but all of them were made in the 70s so it counts).
There's so many great tracks here that were unfortunately not released outside of the last track politicians in my eyes and the opener keep on knocking, with the former being one of the best punk songs of all time tbh although it does slightly carry the album tbh. But outside of that, there's still great stuff like you're a ... read more
just a really solid and fun blink-182 inspired pop punk EP and thats really it tbh. The only issue really is that a bit too safe at points and it isn't the most special but do me like that is great and compared to other stuff that charted in billboard charts recently, this is definitely better icl and its a solid start tbh
lowkey one of the most tuff album covers of all time and idrc.
as for the actual album itself, its pretty good surprisingly even tho its just dad pop rock tbh. know the difference is kinda weak tho but suicide blonde is a great opener icl and alot of the production is pretty good so idc. Overall, pretty good although doesn't standout too much outside of the cover tbh
french police's debut is a bit interesting despite it being pretty short with some great highlights like tunnel icl. the last two tracks are a bit weaker tho and is pretty short but even at its lowest, its still solid so idrc. its a short indie sounding post punk album and thats it really.
track ratings:
Danger Danger - 86
Head - 83
Port Wine - 85
Tunnel - 88
Karma - 82
Her Eyes Are Not Open - 84
Madrugada - 79
Mi Cama - 78
ehhh...... its not bad but its definitely is just bland drill that kinda follows the dj khald/early french montana formula of having way too many features for no reason whatsoever with barely any of the songs being even good or even memorable to begin with. the only really good song here is city gods and thats it, outside of that and through the fire, the rest is either pretty decent or very mid at worst with most of them pretty much sounding the same tbh. Overall, just a bland drill album and ... read more
I really wanted to listen to ride for the longest bro and well I finally did and its probably of the best albums of the 90s for sure. it has a more happier vibe especially compared to what slowdive and MBV were doing during the early 90s with some insanely great production and vocals with chrome waves and cool your boots being especially great and probably some of the best songs of the 90s tbh. make judy smile is kinda weak tho and its a bit more neo-psychedelic than shoegaze alot of the time ... read more
listened to RTJ for the first time and its great. EL-P's production is great, both mike and EL-P's flows are great and the chemistry between the two is also really great especially with really great highlights like early tbh. close your eyes is kinda overrated tho but even at its lowest its still great so idrc
I mean its good but it doesn't really standout that much at all tbh. its just a good progressive electronic post rock album and nothing too much else really but germany and antipode are really good tho icl
yeah its ehh tbh. Pretty much the whole album is generic pop rock with some slight early 2010s millennial core sprinkled in like a couple of the songs with the lows being pretty mid to say the least especially happiest of days. there's only like one song that is somewhat good which is caught in the storm but everything else is either decent or mid tbh and thats it. Overall, pretty sad downfall tho considering how good dizzy up the girl and hold me up are but not too surprising
just a sweet folk album Icl but not the most unique. the first four tracks kinda carry the album a little bit tho but there's still a couple of really solid highlights in the second half like my manic and I which along with failure are really solid highlights tbh. but shine is kinda weak but still a really good album regardless
