never really listened to a neoclassical darkwave album but I did and its great. Anna's vocals are great, the production is unique as hell and theres alot of great highs like sova but its a bit too long and no body is kinda weak but outside of that, its great tbh
I mean its an intresting indie EP but also being pretty forgettable icl. ship to bangladesh is really solid tho but outside of that, nothing really else to say about this EP tbh
desided to listen to their more recent stuff since I loved songs of faith and devotion and its unfortunately pretty weak in comparison icl but still pretty solid. There's still a couple great tracks like don't say you love me or always you but its still a downgrade compared to their 90s shit but better than alot of late career albums so idc
underrated asf icl but the first half kinda drags it down. Its one of the only albums where the second half outshines the first half tbh and surprisingly enough, Dilla's flow is pretty good for the most part along with the solid production Dilla, Madlib, Pete and many others have on here (not to mention the features). like ik its technically a remaster of his earlier mixtapes but how is this shit a 64 on here, its underrated as hell bro. the only flaw is that the first half kinda drags the ... read more
I mean he wasn't lying, this was kinda a good time tbh. the production is pretty good despite it sounding a bit generic along with it being a bit radio friendly, davido's vocals are pretty good as well and there's surprisingly some pretty solid tracks like get to you and fall tbh but the chris brown feature on blow my mind kinda ruined it for me tho. But outside of that and one thing, its good for the most part
kinda underrated icl but it feels a bit more like a small audio documentary than an album throughout most of the songs tbh. Some of the tracks could've been better like operattack tbh but even then we got the fashion show which is great so idc
Ngl, this shit is one of the best 90s albums idc. the production is really great and it's so memberable throughout its crazy (not to mention gustavo's being really great as well). the intro (En) El Séptimo Día is kinda overrated tho but even at it's lowest, it's still really great so idc
this shit is better than yall thought and idc. I would say its one of xavier's weaker projects tho especially cuz its kinda bloated and some of the tracks could've been better but its still fun to listen to tho icl especially seen alot of things. It just could've been a bit better tbh and thats it really
out of all the three stereolab albums I've listened to this far, this is the best one icl. the production is great, Lætitia's vocals are also great here and there's a ton of great highlights like cybele's reverie and slow fast hazel but the length could've been a bit shorter icl but its great so idc
wanna relisten to the forever story at some point but before that, we have this shit and its really solid icl. The production, JID's flow, the features, all of it pretty damn solid icl but some of last couple of tracks do dip a bit in quality tho and the intro is kinda unnecessary tbh but its still really solid especially off da zoinkys so idc
some really solid early 80s new wave shit and I mean the more blondie pop rock kinda new wave here tbh not the synthpop kinda new wave. its unfortunately pretty lengthy to say the least but there's jason and the argonauts which is a great track but still has some weaker shit like nearly africa for example. Even then however, its still really solid even in its lows so idc
one of the most underrated albums of the 2000s. Its kinda like british version of funeral era arcade fire but more neo-psychedelic and indie pop focused and the production is great icl especially popstar researching oblivion. Even then however, its definitely pretty lengthy and should've been a bit shorter but its still great so idc
ngl, this is kinda overhated as hell but even then its not really that great icl. the production itself is decent but some of the lyrics kinda suck and get the lead out is kinda mid as hell tbh but even then, the first half is good for the most part tho. its just that the second half is a bit of a dip in quality and some of the lyrics kinda suck but thats it. Overall, kinda overhated
better than I thought but not the best icl. there is some really good tracks here and there but most of the album is not that special and is kinda forgettable tbh. Even still, shit like radical is kinda underrated and is on here so it is still kinda good icl
suicide's second album definitely stands out especially compared to other early synthpop bands tbh even tho it's synth punk and its really solid icl especially diamonds fur coat champagne icl which is really great btw. las vegas man and dance are pretty weak tho but even at it's lowest, it's still really solid
after two mid albums (haven't listened to their debut but it's probably ass imma be real), they finally released a good album for once and it's pretty good for the most part. the production is solid and the first five songs are great icl. After out of the red, the second half is pretty weak compared to the first and some of the songs sound kinda samey tho even the great songs but even then, still a really good album Icl. on your side and 22 seconds kinda ruin the album tho
finally listened to weird al for the first time and it's what I kinda expected from him. just silly song parodies to popular songs of the time with his voice kinda sounding like the voice from the english dub version of the hamtaro intro for some reason (it probably just me tho). the george of the jungle track along with girls just wanna have lunch are pretty weak tho but not bad especially compared to other stuff of the 80s that aren't parodies tbh. Overall, a really solid parody ... read more
a pretty good debut EP icl although the production isn't really for me and has this beach house/cults inspired kinda sound with some early 60s brill building influences included as well but again, it isn't for me and it could've been better. its just a weaker version of what their second EP would become icl but the title track is still great tho
