The Knife - Shaking the Habitual
81

sorry for the sudden short little hiatus for a few days, my headphones broke and I had wait a little bit to get new ones. Anyways, this is pretty solid to say the least. the production is pretty solid for the most part although the second half dips in quality a bit and the more lengthy tracks drag on a bit (not to mention it being pretty long in general). But even then, its still really solid icl

Janet Jackson - Control
86

control was the first of the big album streak janet would have during the 80s and 90s and tbh, this is great icl. the production is great and I like janet's vocals alot here icl but the second half could've been better especially the closing track time flies but even then the title track is really great and eve at its lowest, its still a great album regardless

GZA - Words from The Genius
63

before wu tang even existed, we got GZA's debut which is ok for the most part ig. the production is kinda generic tho and the lyricism isn't really that unique either although there's still good highlights like life of a drug dealer and phony as ya wanna be which are pretty good icl but my god did the last three tracks ruin this shit so much man especially stay out of bars. even then however, its still an ok debut album for the most part ig but the last three tracks ... read more

Stereolab - Instant Holograms On Metal Film
77

instant holograms is their first album since the hiatus with chemical cords along with not music and its better than chemical cords tbh. the production is pretty good and there's even a couple of great tracks like melodie is a wound but like with many albums, the second half dips a bit in quality to say the least especially flashes from everywhere icl. But even then, still a pretty good comeback album after their hiatus so idc

Dean Blunt - BLACK METAL
91

well it isn't metal but its still definitely great to say the least. I already went through the narcissist II and that was already great so I listened through this as well and its pretty much on the same level and also really great icl. The production is great like always and dean's vocals are as well, although the second half dips in quailty a bit icl especially country. But even, still a great art pop album icl

Madonna - Like a Prayer
83

a pretty solid follow up to true blue although true blue is a little bit better compared to this tbh. The title track is pretty overrated icl but express yourself and cherish are great icl but the production is a bit dated and the second half is pretty weak icl but still a really solid 80s pop album icl

Little Simz - NO THANK YOU
91

had to relisten to it and this shit is underrated as hell. the production is really great and simz's flow is great as always, although the second half dips a bit in quality tho tbh especially with sideways. But even then, its still great even at its lowest points and heart on fire is easily one of the best songs of the whole decade thus far and u can't tell me otherwise

J Dilla - Donuts
90

took me so long to review this but here we are. the production is really great with some of the best sampling I've seen from an album thus far although it's a little bit inconsistent in some points tbh. Outside of that, really great especially donut of the heart and last donut at night tbh

Madeon - Adventure
78

would've hit so hard in an old minecraft tutorial vid icl. the production is solid although not too much for me but there's a couple great tracks like ok and home tho which kinda carry the album tbh. Overall, pretty good icl

Lady Gaga - Harlequin
73

first lady gaga album I listened to in full and its a kinda good trad pop album ig. There is a couple of pretty good tracks like the joker which was made for the second joker movie but along with folie à deux was included in the album and both tracks along with happy mistake are pretty good highlights although the movie its connected to is ass and the production isn't too interesting sadly but its still kinda good icl

Lycia - Ionia
93

one of the most underrated goth albums of all time and idc. I love the production alot although mike's vocals could've fitted a little bit better icl and some of the instrumentals needed to be a little bit better but even then, still insanely great especially desert icl

Aja - Femme Queen Rage, Vol. 1
75

not too much of a fan of drag tbh but its still a pretty good mixtape surprisingly tho. there's some really good highlights here like venus & mars along with jaqueline hyde but the production could've been better icl. But even then, still a pretty good mixtape regardless so idc

track ratings:

Vulture Queen - 72

Witch B!tch Want Smoke? (with Kevin Jz Prodigy) - 73

Shinigami Walk - 76

Demons & Fairies (with Regina Del Carmen) - 78

Bubblegum Nightmare (Watch Out Regina) ... read more

Goo Goo Dolls - Jed
55

Before they were well known for their alt rock and pop rock shit in the 90s, they were a pretty mediocre hardcore punk band and jed is one of their earlier albums tbh and its pretty mid to say the least. first off, its inconsistent as hell with the whole album only having like one good song on here with the rest either decent or complete dogshit and alot of the album just feels like a worse version of what husker du was doing a couple years earlier tbh.

u can see a small glimpse of what goo ... read more

Pearl Jam - Yield
77

lowkey surprised how good this shit actually is tbh since it kinda falls into dad rock a bit here. The first four tracks are pretty solid surprisingly with faithful being great icl but after do the evolution, the second half is a bit of a downgrade icl especially red bar but even then, I still enjoyed it for what it was tbh. But overall, a pretty good dad rock album

At the Drive-In - Relationship of Command
94

might be one of the best albums of the 2000s. The production has aged so goddamn well and is really great (not to mention songs like rolodex propaganda and quarantined being insanely great and one of the best songs of the 2000s icl. the middle is a little weak tho but even then still great regardless

prettifun - Pretti
88

definitley the best rage album I've listened to thus far and idc. its fun as hell and the production is great especially compared to other rage albums icl. honeybun is pretty weak tho but its still great and light along with ice cream are really great highlights so idc

Depeche Mode - Songs of Faith and Devotion
92

probably one of the best albums of the 90s. the production is really great, martin's vocals are also great and its just great in general. it might be a little bit inconsistent at some points tho and one caress is kinda weak but even at its lowest, its still great so idc. also, mercy in you and in your room are some of the best songs from the 90s icl

Roar - I'm Not Here to Make Friends
87

underrated as hell EP to say the least. there isn't that much to say about it tho other than the production is great and flightless bird really great on its own icl and that's about it really. Its just a short yet great EP and thats it

65

bro somehow is both unique and generic at the same time in some ways and its baby kia out of all mfs. I like kia's flow alot, he has unique energy throughout along with him sounding unique in general and od crashin is really solid icl but the production falls a bit flat for the most part and its pretty short to say the least. Even then, still a decent debut

Foo Fighters - Concrete and Gold
72

took me a long while before I listened to anything from foo fighters and tbh, its somewhat good ig. there is a couple of good tracks here like dirty water and run but the overproduced stadium like production kinda ruins the album for me, with happy ever after being pretty weak to say the least but even at its lowest, its still decent tho icl and its somewhat good regardless anyways
