I'm having a hard time knowing how to feel about this one because while it can be beautiful and utterly terrifying it's also just boring at times (especially the start of the first track), but I guess I think I like it...?
A lot of great songs but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't difficult getting through 18 tracks.
Initially, I didn't love this album because it's not nearly as grand or dense as many of these other post-rock records but upon revisiting I realized just how emotional all these songs are.
This song is surprisingly solid and emotional at times and it unfortunately doesn't get more recognition. That being said, due to some unsatisfying transitions in between sections and a kind of underwhelming ending, I don't think I'll find myself revisiting this much.
