Definitely more ideas going on with this, but not as interesting as stuff on previous albums.

In my opinion, the best early Swans album

New instruments, but overall a more boring experience than the prior albums

Honestly, I'm fine with listening to Section 1 (especially on a long road trip to relax, which is the point of this album) but after that, I'm out. Section 1 is very nice.

Other than Owner, most of the songs are annoying (with the exception of Leave It)

Starship makes this worth it

Other than the Radio interludes, this album is great

The worst of the trilogy

Not as good as Discipline, but Heartbeat is really good

Not too fond of Elephant Talk, but everything else is great

The weaker points for me are Lark Pt 1 and the random scream at the end of Talking Drum. Everything else is great.

The second half is stronger than the first imo.

I can't get behind this one.
