MUST DIE! - VAMPIRE WEAPON: MIDNIGHT
76

Personally I don't think this is up to par with Crimson or Crisis Vision, but he's definitely taking some swings here that I can respect even if it's not my cup of tea.

Chase Atlantic - LOST IN HEAVEN
73

This is definitely some certified fuckboi shit but it DOES have some bops that I can't get out of my head.

Dead Icarus - Zealot
75

Honestly better than I thought it was going to be, mainly due to the guitar work.

The Strike - A Dream Through Open Eyes
86

I only found these guys a couple months ago, but they've quickly risen the ranks to being one of my favorite synthwave/new wave artists.

Recommended listening experience: Blasting this while going 80 down the highway at sunset.

Savant - HEX I
81

One of the more "mainstream" sounding releases from Savant, but still manages to keep his signature sound fully present as always. Baaboo is an insane track.

The Linda Lindas - No Obligation
74

Scott Pilgrim-core (complimentary)

MASTER BOOT RECORD - HARDWAREZ
78

If you like riffs and synths then look no further. I've only listened to a few of MBR's albums, but this definitely feels like one of their best.

RÜFÜS DU SOL - Inhale / Exhale
86

As beautiful as it is relaxing. I was completely lost in a trance for the entirety of this album so while I don't have any favorite tracks, that's basically the highest compliment I can pay this lol.

Real Friends - Blue Hour
80

I think these guys are finally starting to find a sweet spot for the energy they bring with the new vocalist. Currently I think their EP last year is a little better than this but I also feel like this is going to be more a slow burner that grows on me over time.

Favs: Waiting Room, This Year is Out To Get Me, When You Were Here

KEY - Pleasure Shop
80

Title track is possibly the best K-pop I've heard all year. Rest of the EP is fun as well.

Rain City Drive - Things Are Different Now
80

Goddamn these guys know how to write a hook.

Alexisonfire - Death Letter
79

I'd never heard this side of Alexisonfire before today, and honestly even though the first 6 songs are over a decade old I think they still hold up really well. The 2 new songs feel right at home here as well, overall a very pleasant surprise!

The Fray - The Fray Is Back
83

Okay I'll admit was not expecting much here but I actually loved this. Just some good cozy indie rock.

Lady Gaga - Harlequin
79

Maybe this just hit me at the right time but this was very entertaining to listen to.

LSDREAM - LSZEE
86

Love nearly everything both of these artists have done on their own and was extremely excited to see what they could cook up together. Needless to say my expectations were met if not exceeded.

Fav Tracks: EMPYRE (Part 2), FRENCH DREAM, MOTHER EARTH

House of Protection - GALORE
86

Loved this more than anything from FEVER333 honestly. Really excited to see what these guys will cook up next. Album cover also goes hard AF.

Taylor Acorn - Survival In Motion
81

Similar to Certified Depressant last year, there's definitely some forgettable tracks on here but there are also some HITS. Definitely worth giving a listen to if you're looking for some more some good, Avril Lavigne style pop-punk.

156/Silence - People Watching
82

As dark and haunting as the album cover suggests.

NERO - Into The Unknown
85

Never was really a huge fan of NERO outside of a few singles I adored back in the day, but MAN this is good.

Incredibly fun mix of EDM genres with some of their signature ethereal, cyberpunk-esque sound make for a very enjoyable 45 minutes! Definitely going to be bumping this for the next few weeks.
