Personally I don't think this is up to par with Crimson or Crisis Vision, but he's definitely taking some swings here that I can respect even if it's not my cup of tea.
This is definitely some certified fuckboi shit but it DOES have some bops that I can't get out of my head.
Honestly better than I thought it was going to be, mainly due to the guitar work.
I only found these guys a couple months ago, but they've quickly risen the ranks to being one of my favorite synthwave/new wave artists.
Recommended listening experience: Blasting this while going 80 down the highway at sunset.
If you like riffs and synths then look no further. I've only listened to a few of MBR's albums, but this definitely feels like one of their best.
As beautiful as it is relaxing. I was completely lost in a trance for the entirety of this album so while I don't have any favorite tracks, that's basically the highest compliment I can pay this lol.
I think these guys are finally starting to find a sweet spot for the energy they bring with the new vocalist. Currently I think their EP last year is a little better than this but I also feel like this is going to be more a slow burner that grows on me over time.
Favs: Waiting Room, This Year is Out To Get Me, When You Were Here
Title track is possibly the best K-pop I've heard all year. Rest of the EP is fun as well.
I'd never heard this side of Alexisonfire before today, and honestly even though the first 6 songs are over a decade old I think they still hold up really well. The 2 new songs feel right at home here as well, overall a very pleasant surprise!
Okay I'll admit was not expecting much here but I actually loved this. Just some good cozy indie rock.
Loved this more than anything from FEVER333 honestly. Really excited to see what these guys will cook up next. Album cover also goes hard AF.
Similar to Certified Depressant last year, there's definitely some forgettable tracks on here but there are also some HITS. Definitely worth giving a listen to if you're looking for some more some good, Avril Lavigne style pop-punk.
Never was really a huge fan of NERO outside of a few singles I adored back in the day, but MAN this is good.
Incredibly fun mix of EDM genres with some of their signature ethereal, cyberpunk-esque sound make for a very enjoyable 45 minutes! Definitely going to be bumping this for the next few weeks.
