Surely a good record, all the singles (Free Yourself, Pearls, Begin Again) are up to par with the ones from What's Your Pleasure, however I feel like this album lacks a bit more in quality compared to the previous one
It kinda didn't catch my eye at first, but I'm loving it listen after listen
Not a perfect album by any means, Playing the Angel is still superior to this one, but surely a return to form compared to their previous records like Delta Machine or Spirit!
Favs: My Cosmos is Mine, Wagging Tongue, Ghost Again, Don't Say You Love Me, People Are Good, Never Let Me Go
Least fav: My Favourite Stranger
I like it, of course it's not on the level of albums like Plastic Beach or Demon Days, but it surely has its highs (and lows). It's a 7 for me now, it could be a bit lower or higher in the next weeks
Edit: it didn’t live up to what I consider a 7/10 album to be, it’s a 6.5/7- out of 10 for me right now
FAVS: Cracker Island, Oil, New Gold, Possession Island
WORST: Tormenta
I've been listening to this since last night and I'm loving it quite much.
Obviously the singles are awesome (especially Sunset), but there are tracks like 'Smoke', 'Butterfly Net' or 'Blood and Butter' that are awesome too, especially the last one with that gorgeous bagpipe that comes in about the second half of the track. It's clear that she wanted to experiment new and different sounds with this record (compared to her previous one 'Pang'), it shows and it surely has paid off!
One of the very best synth-pop albums in recent history. Well done guys, I love this album <3
I didn't want to jump into the hype train immediately after the album announcement, like any fan would do, because I was quite unsure about what Paramore would have brought to the table with this record.
However, first single This is Why came out, then 'The News' was released and I loved both singles in the same way. Even tho 'C'est Comme Ca' didn't really impress me as much, I still thought Paramore had a hit the spot perfectly.
That's until the record came out last night. I'm not saying the ... read more
I'm so glad people started to recognize Kate Bush. I've always loved her music and I discovered Hounds of Love during quarantine in 2020 and I remember being obsessed with this song, especially the intro.
I can't express how happy I am to see loads of people talking about her music!
one of my favourite songs ever, if not my most favourite of all time. Had such a great time at the Verona gig in Italy last week, enjoyed the shit out of this song when I was there. Thank you Lorde <3
slight downstep compared to remind me tomorrow, but some tracks (like headspace) are still fire. Viva SVE

OK. Significantly better than most of the singles on Simulation Theory but it's still far from being very good/outstanding. I wouldn't listen to it a lot but I still had a nice headbanging moment on the chorus
3 years after Love is Dead, Chvrches are back. I won't lie, I've been a fan for a few years now: I loved their debut album "Bones", that featured a surprising but impressive minimalistic synth pop style and I also enjoyed their second album Every Open Eye.
I didn't like Love Is Dead tho, I basically hated it. It was a dull and unoriginal record for me, with far too banal lyrics and purely commercial sounds, apart from a few nice songs like Graffiti. But I knew the band, I knew ... read more
It probably won't match How Not To Drown, but it's still a banger. Vocals are extremely good and the lyrics are also well written.
It reminds me a bit of Clearest Blue but also something of Warning Call, probably a mixture of both (sound-wise).
