A good folk record. Some tracks are great and she's able to create a style of her own in them, others are ok and in some way similar to many other folk songs.
UPDATE 25/12/2020 // 2020 AOTY // Rating 9/10.

When the first 3 singles came out before Phoebe dropped the whole record, I had the feeling that she wanted to experiment more on the sound compared to Stranger In The Alps.
In the end, it looks like my intuitions were right!
Pheobe's strongest point is undoubtedly the lyrics that, just like in her previous records, are simple but raw and brilliant.
The biggest problem that lied in Stranger In The Alps, though, was the 'dead moments' ... read more
I didn't actually have a chance to listen to Halsey before, so I've decided to give this album a shot.
While the first part of it had actually made me quite interested, my excitement unfortunately slowly started to fade.
3am is a banger tho. I wish Halsey had the courage to go off that damn generic and bland pop style as she did in this song...
Fav tracks: Ashley, clementine, Forever, 3 am, Finally// beautiful stranger, More
Least fav track: You should be sad
I'm not really good at reviewing rap albums, but this shit seems cool.
And yes, that verse in walking in the snow hurts.
Purely mindblowing to say the least, I've listened to this record just once and I'm shocked.
The instrumentals are astonishing, Bjork's vocals are INSANE (I still get chills for Bachelorette!). Nothing on this album is misplaced and even the simplest thoughts (like love in All Neon Like) are described in a super fancy and unique way.
Fav tracks: Bachelorette, Joga, Hunter, Pluto, All Is Full Of Love, Unravel, All Neon Like, Immature, Alarm Call
Worst track: 5 Years
So, I've got an interesting story to share about this record.
I actually heard the song Fire on PES 19 but I didn't really love it, I just thought it was ok-ish and didn't really bother listening to the whole album.
However, I actually reheard the song a couple of weeks ago and I liked it more than 1 year and a half ago.
So, I decided to give Lovers a shot and I'm actually happy I did!
This record is pretty solid: surely not astonishing, there are some songs here and there that don't really ... read more
Not very much else in addition to what it has already been said on this record.
But yeah, I kinda like it. That's pretty much all.
Fav tracks: This Love Isn't Crazy, Heartbeat, Stay Away, Let's Sort The Whole Thing Out, Comeback
Least fav track: Summer Love
I had hopes on this record, to be honest. I liked some of the singles they had released before today, but I hoped for something better.
The album actually starts pretty well. I liked the choice of using a speech as an intro and People was also pretty good.
However, I feel that Notes On A Conditional Form has a big problem: it's nearly one hour and a half long, featuring 22 tracks which most of which are just fillers.
I basically felt very indifferent throughout most of the listening, with ... read more
Having discovered Linkin Park as an early teenager in late 2014, I didn't have the chance to witness Linkin Park creating a new record.
That chance happened with One More Light and, yes, while I was one of the lads that left a 'dislike' on Heavy, I can tell you that this record isn't really that bad.
Yes, Linkin Park shifted from rock to pop: should they be sentenced to death just for that? Shouldn't we just realize that pop isn't 'bad' because it is more mainstream-friendly? Shouldn't we ... read more

Listening to Through The Cellar Door in Life is Strange: Before the Storm made me interested to discover more about this band.
Then, what better choice if not listening to their newest record yet?
As I started to play Spook The Herd, I was amazed: I LOVED When It All Comes True, it's so emotional, warm (and a bit teary too, not gonna lie).
However, from Baddies on I didn't feel that beauty anymore. All I heard were good tracks but not as good as the first.
I'm honestly a bit disappointed. Yes, ... read more
It's just fucking good.
Natalie's vocals are amazing and flawless, the instrumentals are spot-on and I've nothing more to say but... GIVE IT A DAMN LISTEN!
QUICK REVIEW: Compared to her first records, Are We There is the first album where Sharon starts to shift from her comfort zone of writing and composing low-key folk music.
An example is the track Your Love is Killing Me, featuring super strong instrumentals and vocals, but the closer Every Time The Sun Comes Up also follows the line traced by Van Etten.
However, I still find the mid-part of the record quite sluggish compared to the first part of it: a pity, for sure, since Are We There has a ... read more
QUICK REVIEW: Considering Sucker Punch is Sigrid's debut album,it's pretty good. Sound is pretty simple but effective and she's also able to deliver interesting lyrics throughout the entire length of the record.
I liked how powerful and immediate Sucker Punch was, the sweet tenderness of Don't Feel Like Crying and Dynamite and I also find Strangers to be a spot-on hit.
Recommended!
A Thousand Suns will always have a special place in my heart: it's the record that made me understand what's really music for me, what I love looking for in a record, and without it, I probably wouldn't be here writing this little review.
Yes, it may have its flaws, but it's the most experimental and original record Linkin Park have ever done.

Through high and lows, Song For Our Daughter is indeed a quality record crafted originally and beautifully.
I personally liked how the album was generally fluid and easy to listen, especially during the first part of the record, but there are some songs that don't really shine compared to the others and tend to give some sense of monotony throughout them.
Favorite songs: Alexandra, Held Down, Strange Girl, Only the Strong, For You
Least faves: Hope We Meet Again, Fortune
I'll keep it short and clear.
I wasn't that excited while I listened to the first 3-4 songs, but damn this record kept growing on me track by track to the point I basically was screaming the hell out of myself.
I freaking love every song from "Your Body Changes Everything" to the very last one and "Nothing At All" has everything to become song of the year.
Mike Hadreas, you are indeed a Genius.
