This is a classic babbbbbbbbyyyyyyyy
OutKast has some of their best, most energetic, anthemic songs on here. They effortlessly pull from multiple genres and sounds, from rap-rock to funk. Lots of funk. And there isnt a bad song on here, but you could say the same for OutKast's top 3 (Aquemini, ATLiens, Stankonia.) The reason why THIS is my favorite is because of the amount of energy on here. My only problem is that there are too many interludes filling up the album that dont add much of ... read more
HOLY SHIT Did this album grow on me. I used to think this album sounded like shit, literally unlistenable, every song sounded the same. It took months and multiple relistens. But one day, after having a shitty day, and feeling paranoid, I listened to Earl's new EP. It was ok, but it made me want to revisit SRS.
And the mixing clicked, Jesus did it click.
The instrumental was usually too loud to hear what Earl is saying, but once I focused on Earls voice, it all came into play. Everything ... read more
This guapdad 4000 guys isnt too bad. But like, who is he, and why should I care?
yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! This album is great, I just want to say that. Daveed Diggz's lyricism is great on here, it all fits a perfect horror vibe just in time for Halloween. The production too, is all great. Though near the front, the album doesnt have much steam, and Daveed's flow can be offputting, it is a fun, scary listen.
Favs: Blood of the Fang, La Mala Ordina, Piano Burning (yes), All In Your Head, Nothing Is Safe
Least Fav: Intro (actually a bad track)
Mediocre pop rock/ska album, each song they add one element to make it stand out, like an electronic noise, or a weird drum noise. If youre looking for cheesy rock for some fun, you might get a kick out of it
Favs: All Star, Then The Morning Comes, Whos There, Cant Get Enough Of You Baby
Least Fav: Road Man
Awesome funky and soulful beats from Danger Mouse, and great performances from CeeLo Green. Only song that was a dud was The Boogie Monster
So if you remember, 6ix9ine got arrested like a few days before the album released, and the album was delayed. I wasnt sure if it would be released. People in my Spanish II Class were talking about having the leak in class. This sparked my interest, as at the time i didnt know how to find leaks. I ask one of the kids to send the leaked album to me. I havent really talked to any of the people in that class much, and some were surprised that i was interested in it. So I got some randos number, ... read more
This is a dynamic debut from the album, from high energy bangers to moody r&b. Not everything hits right but it offers some of EARTHGANGs best. A must listen
Favs: UP, Proud Of U, Tequila, LaLa Challenge, Top Down, Swivel, This Side
Least Fav: Trippin
Some dope rapping, but a lot of it isnt that amazing. However 18 Wheeler, best production, best feature on the album hands down. This'd really be rated a 79.5 or a 79.6 if i could. It just misses the mark of amazing.
Fav tracks: Crowns for Kings, 18 Wheeler
A great disco album with fantastic production, MJs vocals are diverse and fun. There are definitely a few dated moments that dont hold up well at all.
FAvs: Off The Wall, Dont Stop Till You Get Enough, Rock With You, Workin Day And Night
Least Fav: Shes Out My Life
Literally changed hip hop. Everything today still hits as hard as if it just came out
