YONAKA - Until You're Satisfied
74

really solid album and unique 'bite the concrete', 'pedal-to-the-metal' sounding shit. really really cool. nothing notable or emotionally interesting about this album but a cool sorta collection of songs.

Lou Doe - I LIKE GIRLS FROM POOR EUROPEAN COUNTRIES
79

slightly better than her previous ep. really fun and unique sound. almost chaotic and noise pollution at points but in a way thats comforting and loveable. hard to explain but a win is a win.

Lou Doe - Cocaine doesn't work on me
76

really really solid. promising contribution to the genre and interesting sonically. fav song was 10hut and least fav was what else could i be

Dire Straits - Communiqué
69

i listened to pretty much most of this ages ago but only just finished the album. its definitely an interesting lp but far less interesting than their self named album and becomes a drag at point. but its still an okay entry into their discog. communique and angel of mercy are the best on this album. the rest isnt that interesting.

Mac Miller - Swimming
72

honestly this album was just good. i was kinda expecting more from it and didnt find it very sonically interesting. theres no disputing the fact there are some bangers on here like small worlds, whats the use?, and ladders. but idk it was just decent.

Nas - Illmatic
88

this album was great. i have nothing more to say. it was just an all round great hip hop album and i can see why its so highly rated. the lyrics are super sharp and satisfying, the beats are fresh and unique but grounded and familiar, and the tone is consistent yet unique throughout. win.

Thundercat - Distracted
68

a really hit or miss album lowk. strong first half but kinda got worse towards the second half. it is what it is tho. some actual bangers. very inconsistent and not very cohesive. the second half acc annoyed me so much. everything after 'this thing we call love' was straight ass. like really sonically uninteresting and just lyrically confusing. it was trying to be strange and quirky and just didnt really stick the landing. more just sounds like this album forgot itself along the way. ... read more

Radiohead - Amnesiac

pretty decent radiohead album. i listened to this ages ago but ive only technically logged it now. its rlly rlly decent tho. as far as to say that life in a glasshouse is probably my favourite radiohead song. Kid A B sides are awesome (tryna piss off radiohead fans). This album is honestly rlly decent. I didn't used to like it tons but its really grown on me.

Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
83

“When you feel your life’s too hard, just go have a talk with god”

Songs In The Key Of Life, the A side warrior. This album surprised me in a lot of ways. It had an incredibly vast and explorative nature to it with very contrasting sounds across every song. It had bluesy moments, groovy moments, funky moments, classical, even latin-american inspired moments. But overall, I was left sort of disappointed. Despite the fact that pretty much all of the songs on this album were ... read more

Mac Miller - Circles
89

wow. so touching and beautiful. first time listening to mac and i thoroughly enjoyed it. will be checking out his other shit for sure.

Stevie Wonder - Music of My Mind
87

properly fantastic. not as good as innervisions or talking book but far better than fulfillingness. Despite the fact that the production on this is so much worse than his generational run (tb - sitkol), some of the songs on here are so fucking fire. Keep on running and I love everything about you are genuinely so good. Amazing album. Im still putting off sitkol until I find the chance and time to listen to it properly in one sitting. WWW

Stevie Wonder - Fulfillingness' First Finale
80

I don't think one was as strong as I would have liked it to be. not as good as innervisions or talking book imo. some songs really surprised me, like bird of beauty and you havent done nothing. but as a cohesive album it feels a bit less interesting than the others in his generational run. I've got sitkol soon, so nervous. I tried listening before and didn't fw it that much. but im gonna give it a proper chance.

Stevie Wonder - Innervisions
96

this is probably one of the most cohesive, first and amazing albums ive ever listened to. its been a while since an album has been this untouchable and indomitable. literally AMAZING album.

Angine de Poitrine - Vol.1
85

solid asl. love the microtonal gabobshadoosh. like like

ミラクルミュージカル [Miracle Musical] - Hawaii: Part II
68

has the same problem as cherry bomb by tyler the creator. it has some actual bangers. but as a cohesive product its actual dog shit and honestly made by angry at points. the mind electric being half in reverse was a pretentious, low effort and unnecessary decision. The tone was all over the place throughout the entire album. tracks like labyrinth shoved right into the middle as a chiptune 8 bit hip hop track mae zero sense. just an overall disappointing album. even tho its not my first listen.

Stevie Wonder - Talking Book
89

amazing. rlly need to listen to sitkol soon. only listened to a side. maybe your baby had me acc gagging.

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb [Physical Release]
75

this album is so solid. gen one of my favourites from tyler. but i cant rate it highly bc as a cohesive product its absolute garbage. i get whiplash from the amount of times it goes from a 10/10 song to absolute dooks. smuckers to keep da o's is actual aids.

The Beatles - Rubber Soul
85

such a great album. i think i prefer it to sgt peppers even tho sgt peppers used to be my fav. some of the songs on here are just such fucken bops bro.

Joshua Raw - SASQUATCH
87

i gen loved this lil ep. really nice sounds. this guy is genuinely going places he sounds sm like tyler its crazy.

Stereophonics - Just Enough Education to Perform
76

this album is really solid. it feels a bit disjointed at points and some of the songs are kinda boring. rooftop, have a nice day, mr writer and vegas two times save this album.
