Disregard anything negative thing i said about late 90s neo-soul
Much of this record's actual quality is obscured by the incredible mark it made on pop culture.
This has some great moments and performances but the album as a whole lacks consistency.
The record is at its best when it's dynamic, but at its worst when it stays at 11 for too long.
My personal 3rd favorite official nirvana live recording. The energy, history, aura, and setlist are all there.
Legendary show but Kurt's vocal performance just isn't there. He (understandably) sounds uninterested.
Probably my least favorite live nirvana release, but that's because I'm not a big fan of live albums that are compilations of multiple shows.
I think that if you don't take this too seriously and take it as a fun collection of songs, the only skip is big long now
