Brendon Urie finds himself in an awkward position between pop punk and radio pop and hasn’t quite found the sound that would be on his next record. Twtl,trtd! is a mess.

Indie artist Beabadoobee create some of the warmest bedroom pop of 2022. so warm in fact, it almost puts me to sleep at some points.

why was i so obsessed with this?

tracks like “Chocolate” and “Robbers” don’t make up for the otherwise stale song writing and bland production

not all it’s chalked up to be. few stellar tracks but a lot blend together

EDIT: 90 —> 100 knowing what Jesse did makes rating this album highly feel wrong, but you cannot deny the art here. The themes feel personal and universal and the song writing here is really something. an all time emo classic.

I was going to give it a 45 till gimme killed it and couldn’t be salvaged. When Sam isn’t boring me to death he’s got some obnoxious features and over-the-top production insulting me. Also tell him to stop staring at me like that.. it’s creepy

Yachty completely reinvents his sound and I couldn’t be happier about it. I wasn’t sure how I would respond to this album aster my distaste for the single poland, but this project definitely won me over. can’t wait to see what lies ahead.
