The quintessential Post-Hardcore record to me

Maybe I'm missing something, but the individual songs lacked progression and felt very static. Interesting atmospheres on a handful of them, though

As I dig deeper into Animal Collective's discography, I continue to be more and more impressed and surprised. There's a starry, child-like wonder to this entire album, yet it feels like there is so much pain and passion aching between its layers. There's an entire universe created here, and I don't really want to leave it anytime soon.
