first 5 tracks are actually super good and fun listens, very impressed for a young jack stauber, although the mixing in some parts is pretty horrendous. I generally do not like the second half however.
woaaa this one was so fun!!!! I loved almost every single track and have had underscores on repeat since this came out. Sooo many catchy breaks, verses, and choruses that stick to my brain like glue
I love this thing to death. As an ex-mo myself this was the best possible thing for me to come across and conclude my journey away from the wacky religion. Plus it made me far more into theater and musicals than I used to be.
some of these songs are endlessly charming and fun, I can see why everyone considers this a classic. Specifically Thunder Road never gets old and gives me a nostalgic and extremely uplifted mood, plus that first part of the title track got me weeping
Pretty much what everyones saying, first half good last half bad, but I very much respect another white rapper who actually takes risks and doesnt copy eminem or something. Plus the wordplay is awesome and actually had me bobbing along to most of these songs, excited to see where his career goes after this.
pretty much just another heat compilation thrown together with metro boomin and friends, had this album on repeat last winter, nothing super special just fun as hell imo.
The first 4 songs are some of the best advances in hiphop this year, mind blowing and unique stuff as well as cool funkadelic and kanye samples which are really cool callbacks to what are essentially travis scott’s origins. And then other songs like what im assuming to be the next big tiktok hit MELTDOWN has one of the first drake moments ive thoroughly enjoyed in a really long time, and the track with the young thug feature which I cant name rn went hard as hell. However I think the ... read more
This album is my ADHD in a nutshell and holy god I love every single creative take and turn on this thing.
Most of the tracks are unbelievably addictive, and although theres maybe 2 or 3 I think are meh the rest completely overpowers the bad here and I love it to death.
I wish nothing but the best for kesha, shes been through some shit and this might be one of my favorite projects from her. I love the raw and emotional lyrics and her stepping way outside the box for one of the biggest pop stars of the 2010s, this sounds completely different and a lot more eerie than any of her earlier stuff (which btw, is still great when it works. Fuck dr luke tho)
This feels like Will’s early discography reaching its full potential, I love that every song is really long and how theres a fully fleshed out idea and concept in each and every one of them. Additionally some of his best songwriting maybe ever, this project is near flawless for me.
I do think this one is slightly overrated, personally didnt find much replayability or enjoyment among most tracks except for songs like clint eastwood or tomorrow comes today, which I think are phenomenal songs and some of gorillaz best.
I can still appreciate what they did here and I like their sound and style lots even in their early stages, I just think it was executed way better in demon days or plastic beach.
Ill write a full review later but god this might be one of my favorite concept albums to come out in the past few years, its so damn good.
This whole thing is probably Jack Stauber’s best work ever. the short film is an incredibly creepy and offputting piece of art, I feel like it really brought out the largest amount of creative potential in jack stauber.
I adore the songs in here although very short, I desperately wish Easy To Breathe and Mirror Man had more complete and fleshed out versions because they sound charged with potential. His vocal performance was perfect reflecting all of these characters.
Go watch it if you ... read more
Some of kanye’s best and some of his worst on here. Baffling album for me but if anyone would make it its kanye.
YOURE SUPPOSED TO CALL HIM LEONAARDOOOOOOOO!!!
BRRNNN NNN N N BRNRNRBEW NEWNEWNEW OOOAAAOAAAAOAAAA
edit: bumping this one up from a 74 to an 82, I love so many songs off of this project and the songwriting is spectacular. Very few actually boring songs or nothing burgers like 1 and 2 had.
Maybe one of my most revisited albums ever, I love to come back to this thing every once in a while and give it a fresh listen each time. Its incredibly well composed, the songs sound much more fleshed out and clear than most of wills previous discography, drums and instrumentals show the band’s talent and potential in full, and dear god some of these song concepts and lyrics hit just as hard as twin fantasy.
Also surprised at how consistent this thing is, not a bad song in sight.

Songs are fun, Its incredibly short but for what its worth I did not have a bad time.
A lot of the instrumentals could use some tweaking and like others have said it feels like a lot of the songs morph and blur into each other annoyingly, but I quite like the concept of what this was going for. All I can break it down to really is “tickles my brain. Havent heard much like this. I think its alright”
gay dog album changes life and leads to self discovery and self acceptance I think wouldve been far harder reaching otherwise. Also helps cope with loss and moving away
I dont see this as anything special in young thug’s discography but man is it a good time.
So many fun and iconic trap songs which I often turn on when im working out or going on a run, or just to feel badass and get a little confidence boost while walking in public.
