I was surprised with just how good this album was. Get scared's sound is just really appealing to me.
The first half of this song is so painfully Tom McDonald it's insane all 10 points I'm giving this song comes from the second half.
Spooky Album #13
This is an example of death metal that I can't get into. It's not melodic at all, and is just an endurance round of metal screams, guitar riffs, and drumming, with very little substance in the songs themselves. It's very high quality, I can tell, but it's just not my taste and left me unsatisfied, especially compared to their new record, which I really enjoyed.
I love these songs but man Will Toledo could not record these songs in a place where they could thrive at this time.

This is Death Metal I can get behind. The instrumentals are fleshed out, nothing feels empty, and the screaming isn't too ridiculous. Banger.

To Pimp A Butterfly needs no introduction. It's by far the highest rated album on the whole site, with a user score of 95/100 with EXACTLY 16,000 reviews at the time of writing, which btw is really cool. Anyway, this album is one of the most respected rap albums of all time and shot Kendrick Lamar from respected rapper to transcendent legend. And for a good reason.

Death metal is such a hard genre to get into for me. The screaming is just a little silly in my opinion. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this album, it's really good, but not my flavor. I think this album would be a lot better if they worked on the instrumentals a bit, but that's my view. I can see why some death metal fans might really like this.
I saw this album was recently added so I decided to listen to it because I was bored. This album didn't help much
Spooky Album #10 (10/10/23)
I was not too into this album after I listened to the first two tracks, because they both were just screaming and very little melody, which is what I personally believe metal needs to have to be successful. But throughout the rest of the album, they incorporated that melodic sound, and by the end I was satisfied with the whole project.
