I broke up with my girl the day this dropped then got back with her in a week mixed feelings as you could prolly tell
Its not just the hype this project is a perfect 10 record ever and I do mean EVERY TRACK has so much care and thought in it I love it low 10
Here we come with a new Gambino record I say "new" lightly but all of it said its a banger like we all knew this good to see people actually listen to these tracks
all it really was for me was the start of the greatest rap beef of all time
This music feels like it has been made in a bus full of needles while a man on crack drives it and crashes out its pretty cool
Another perfect 100 on my board, everything about this record is amazing to my ears and for me its a high 10
Cherry bomb is a gritty rusty and chaotic wonder that shows tylers experimental side, in a album that lacks cohesian that IS the cohesian. The projects brash and crazy nature fits perfectly in the way its presented, with some of tylers best soundscapes coming from the rustbelt that is Cherry Bomb. The alums stand outs include Smuckers,2Seater,Find Your Wings,Pilot,Buffalo and Deathcamp
Wolf is tylers best world so far in his career, In a world where only Goblin and Bastard exsist WOLF breaks through as a breath of fresh air and becoming a key point in tylers career. The world of this project is rich and full of characters plot twists and mystery. The creativity present here is immense and I love it. Stand out songs are IFHY,Partyisntover/Campfire/Bimmer,Colosus,48,WOLF,Slater,Answer,Jamba,Cowboy,Awkward,Tamale and Treehome95
Goblin serves as a follow up to bastard. More brutal lyrics and more intense visuals but even with these things I feel as if the albums world is less vibrant than that of bastard. But the sounds on the project are a lot more too my pallet and enjoyable. Songs like She, Tron Cat and Yonkers are stand outs and push this album past bastard if only barely.
Tylers debut album hits us right in the face, brutal lyrics and the raunchy raw sounds of the late 2000s. The scratchy mix of the vocals develops the home grown feel of this album and makes it feel very natural and that it was crafted by a young mind. The music presented on the record is very much sepertaed from the world in my opinion. The world I find highly engaging and interesting but the actual music given is not something I return too past a first listen besides the two standout songs on ... read more
