the dance-punk album can have a 30 minute outro as a treat
kinda sucks that it was a coinflip if there was anything of substance added or if it was just the original but really loud and also merzbow is there. feedbacker was absolutely insane tho, the extra noise was everything it needed
they really are the best band ever. not a single miss outside of the first three tracks which are super diarrhea supreme
i do not care how annoying i sound, i genuinely think i am above you if you are repulsed by this album on a moral level
every time he switched from the singing voice to the the spoken word with the gritty mic i came a lil
i enjoy how a lot of the guitar solos in this are just “look how fucked up this guitar is. thats crazy”
this is genuinely embarrassing to release. there comes a point where if you make too many gimmicky and short songs i start to doubt if you can actually write one. the track ratings speak for themselves, baffling that this has a must-hear. and no it is not carried by where is my mind. that song is FINE and carried by first impressions. definitely the worst thing steve albini has had a part in.
i really do appreciate what they’re trying to do here but its just too small of a scale to really feel like its not overdoing it :/ also there is definitely a coolness minimum to this style, and this band mixes it with the quirkiness of windmill and it is just too zoomer for me. mixing is also eh. still excited to see the next project though, the bones of something great are here
listened to this in the park and yeah this rips, i can understand why chester bennington would name his band after it
this is a just a normal alt rock album except for the fact that they unleashed a jar of termites into the studio before they pressed record
Mr. SENTRIES does it again. With this they (I know they’re just one guy, I use they for tame impala too) combine the raw energy of their 2023 album with the songwriting of Gem of the West and ends up with some of their best and most polished songs yet. I was trying to think of a song from disc one to compare these songs to, maybe The Cowboy’s Carcass, but in all honesty they feel like a complete new direction. The (rather) long runtimes of the songs allow them to freely stretch and ... read more
am i insane for thinking that jump scare kinda sounds like a fnaf fansong? like im not saying that just because of the name it just sounds like that
i will never relisten to this because i know my score will decrease by like 10 points
headphones aint enough i need to fuck the music. or cameron winter. probably cameron winter
