It took me a long time to write at least a few words on this one but... yeah i think it will be more then just a few...
The first time i stumbled upon this album, the Sufjan itself, well in fact only one track "Fourth of July" was during this years holidays trip i had with my parents through the Scandinavian countries. In Sweden, during 2nd second night there, we arrived at some very secluded place in the middle of the forest. I've set my alarm to 9:00 am I believe but to my ... read more
Fun record. I really liked most of the songs she presented. Great production and melodies, especially on "Wildest Dreams". Some songs hit the spot, but some were pretty mediocre. I'm not a big fan of her vocals.
Favorite tracks: Wildest Dreams, Style, Clean
Least favorites All You Had To Do Was Stay, Bad Blood,

This album is delightful. Her vocals are divine. Field recordings make a nice background to her amazing guitar play. Not what I expected, still I'm surprised and I've enjoyed it.

Every song has a lot of instruments: Violins, Piano, Saxophone ... read more
Can't help but to like this album. A lot of bangers here and there. Some mid tracks but overall very fun album.
Looks like I can't hate rock.
EDIT: Shoutout to Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012 and track "I Am Electric" for bringing me here.
Favorite tracks: "Executioner's Day", "Welcome Home", "Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch", "Lights Out in London", "I Am Electric", "Jump Back".
