Following these guys since Injury Reserve was just gaining steam and seeing how they've evolved and molded into a whole new beast has been nothing less than incredible. The single most experimental rap album you will hear this year and its not even close (wink), the production is fantastic and the songwriting covers quite a diverse set of topics. Its an exeperience you have gotta get on, its fantastic. Hop right the hell on this thing
Maybe i'm going crazy but i honestly liked it. I think its a fun shift on their sound and honestly the instruments on most of the tracks does in some way emulate the heaviness of their normal stuff, usually via other instruments besides the guitars and such. The issues i have with it are Jonathan Davis' vocals just...dont fit all that well for unplugged. Its not that bad though, its only noticable when there's supposed to be screaming in a song and he sings in his regular voice. ... read more
Forgettable with quite sorry mixing. Really did not care, glad they did Follow the Leader after this one lol
