Beautifully weird but that's Darko for you. This a really really solid release for them, probably my favorite since their self titled. Those first three tracks are insane. Congratulations was probably the best single they've released in years. Having an Alex Koehler feature on here is also insane. Quality deathcore.
It's a lot more straight forward than a lot of their other material that I've heard. Nothing really groundbreaking but to me it feels like their most consistent record. I think this is the first time that I can say that there aren't any songs that I'd skip when returning to this album when it comes to Gorillaz. The synths were incredible.
Truly an experience. That being said I feel like it was too long and they saved the most boring songs for last in an attempt to put me to sleep.
