After months of thinking about this album, thinking about G-Eazy's singing voice, his lyrics and his very bitter attitude seen all over this project, I have finally reached a conclusion about it.
That is this is one of the worst things I have ever listened to.
Look I'm not gonna act like Iann Dior is a new or even original artist. He follows a lot of the same conventions and traits of every modern trap artist, and all though that is defiantly a flaw and won't lead him to anything special or significant; If an artist like this can choose some nice beats, have some decent flows and a good sense of melody, I can at least have fun with the project. Dua Saleh is an interesting artist. I first discovered Dua through there song "Sugar Mama", an interesting story telling track that caught me ear due to Dua's catchy melody and odd but captivating lyrics.

Rick Ross's 2006 debut album, Port Of Miami, is a rather flawed and tedious album from Ross. I can give it a bit of slack, being Ross's first album and all, him not having a fully developed sound down quite yet, but still, other albums from this era of Hip-Hip from artists like Lil Wayne (specifically Tha Carter II, which was released a year prior) had a much better understanding and execution of interesting flows, vocal delivery and mixing, lyrical bravado and choosing of glamorous ... read more
