Day #8 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Synthpop
been meaning to listen to this album for a while now and holy shit it didn't dissapoint
in imaginal disk, mag bay crafts a psychedelic synthpop masterpiece, full of emotion and feeling
with the amount of love and death in this album, it's comparable to a soap opera
in a good way
the production is pretty good and makes up for the mid rapping. the exception to this of course is the weird ass emo acoustic song
like I think it would’ve been a good song if he hadn’t completely fucked up the mixing
“no no no it’s experimental”
sybau stop tryna be different
Day #6 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Experimental
soundtracks for the blind?
more like not soundtracks not for the blind
get it
cuz like
i'm not blind
and it's not a soundtrack
anyways yeah this was an amazing album. very mentally disturbing, kinda feels like if you took gy!be and tortured them for all of eternity. i can tell why one of the main genres is just "experimental." at first i was like that's just an ... read more
one of the most depressive albums i've listened to, but i can't even understand the lyrics
Day #5 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Progressive Metal
well i've never listened to metal before but this was actually amazing. didn't know that there was a combination of prog rock and metal but it's awesome. sadly, while listening to this at a daycare i might've accidentally put some kid onto death so, i guess you could consider me a philanthropist.
john michel shows great potential in his rapping debut, tho the production is nowhere as good as anthony james, nor does it fit john michel's style as well either. however this being said it is still a very good album.
The underground is actually having an amazing year, first Chanel feia now this. The production is amazing, it feels like a combo of Griselda and peak Sterling Toes. Meanwhile Qire’s rapping and lyricism has greatly improved over his six year hiatus. This might be one of the strongest rap albums we’ve received so far in 2026. My one problem is just like Qire’s last album this was way too short. WE NEED MORE. MOREEE. Anyways thank you so much Aaron Hampshire for putting us onto ... read more

Day #2 of Listening to The Highest Rated Album From Every Genre
Today's Genre: Pop Punk
well apparently I can't get a break from the emo music
"erm actually it's not emo, it's punk"
sybau
anyways amazing album, what really stuck out to me was the genre mixing of orchestral elements and punk rock elements. as for the singing, it felt raw and non-polished. but like in a good way. the concept for the album was great too. all in all, a breathtaking album.
