Uzi improved a lot on this album. The production took a big jump since the albums before this, very spacey and definitely adds good texture. Along with this his energy and just general comfort feels a lot better on this album. I do like the track 444+222. This being said, as the album goes on, it kind of runs itself into a wall with some generic trap beats and his typical “im rich i fuck that bitch” that we hear time and time again. Occasional just weird bars too. What is it with ... read more
100 gecs delivers a hard hitting, noisy and energetic project, at times gimmicky but still a very enjoyable listen. My favorite song has to be Billy Knows Jamie and Doritos & Fritos
Redveil shows serious potential, but has yet to come through with enough ambition or oomph to attempt another full length LP. I think if redveil takes his time and understands what his next album requires he could surprise us all.
Highlight - Black Enuff

Uzi improved on this thing, showing a few more well-made songs yet still runs into the same issues we saw early in his discography.
50/100
Uzi demonstrates his energetic and convincing delivery, yet lacks in almost every other front, especially lyrically and structurally.
Money Longer is the only decent song and it’s really just alright.
You Was Right is definitely a lowlight.

It took me a while to fully take in this album, and after that i’ve understood that this is probably one of the best collections of trap songs out there. What the genre tends to miss a lot is originality and putting a creative twist on the genre, instead of just copying, and I feel like future does this better than most, for example I Serve the Base with its unique yet still hard beat. Future takes all the elements of trap and does most of them to their fullest potential. Some of the ... read more
Delightfully experimental, refreshingly creative beats, lyrically entertaining, Chemistry between peggy and danny is a great aspect as well. Production value on this project seems to be higher than what we’ve seen from peggy. The tight sidechaining in these grand instrumentals is so iconic for this duo. This album pretty much ramps up from the start where at times it can be slightly too for gone experimentally or corny, but it’s really not much of an issue. Didn’t love Orange ... read more
Somewhat disappointed by this album. 21 and Offset’s chemistry barely exists on the songs they have together. Props to Metro for consistency in the production, each beat is raw in its own way, but really i don’t get the hype on this one. What makes me so frustrated is 21’s performance on this especially because he’s improved so much to this day, but he just constantly sounds so monotone, and the flows are so basic and lack any type of demonstration of 21’s rapping ... read more
