it took me more than 4 relistens and 2 years to fully appreciate this album
absolutely chaotic and powerful avant-garde post-rock, i wish they would release a new album, but that will never happen...

the first thought that came to my mind when i saw this album on the website's homepage in 2024 was: 'this is some random crap that i'll never like and will never listen to.'
i. was. WRONG.
this is a very beautiful and creative collection of songs, which i will definitely re-listen to in the future. crazy production decisions and overall atmosphere are amazing, even for a mixtape.

this whole story about how a random guy from youtube went from dissing KSI to becoming one of the greatest songwriters/producers/musicians of all time and releasing, WITHOUT A DOUBT, one of the best album of all time, is an absolute cinema, and it's a wonderful time to be alive and see this with my own eyes. everyone should be grateful for this opportunity.

"@tistan this isn't really criticism, it’s more of an emotional rant. you keep saying "everything sounds the same" "0 ambition" "no evolution" but you never actually explain what you mean by that. which albums are copying each other? what specific trends or production choices are becoming repetitive? what would "evolution" even look like to you? also reducing an entire scene to "slopfest" just bc most releases didn’t personally connect with you says more about your current burnout with the genre than it does about the actual state of the music."
