I see what she's trying to do here, and when it works, it is truly quite amazing. Of course, it doesn't always wor,k but I still see this album as something very interesting.
Pleasant ambient jazz fusion which reminds me of King Krule's more mellow instrumentals
This is just everything you want in an indie debut. Something that holds artistic aesthetic and emotional value while not taking itself too seriously. I also absolutely adore the Afrobeat influence on this album.
Very solid Indie Rock.
It doesn't take itself too seriously which plays to it's advantage.
However, definitely nothing groundbreaking.
I don't know if this makes sense but this album sounds exactly how Jarvis Cocker looks and acts
Cute album, but nothing that blew me away. Started very strong and then got weaker towards the end.
This was such a fun and wholesome record it's kind of hard to find anything wrong with it's soulful charisma
If you wanted to listen to 100 by Dean Blunt but worse in every way.
This song has no soul and no heart :(
