I'm pretty sure that if 2007 was on the album, it was a perfect album. It's up there with Kendrick for best Hip-Hop album of the year, but damn that came out of nowhere for me. Not that I don't like J.I.D, but i never really listened to his music before. Jeez this is good.
Ok hear me out. This is a good album, but in comparison to some of his previous work, I can't say I've been super impressed. Plain and simple.
I'm not on a Fantano level of hate on this album, don't worry...
After a few listens, I'm finally starting to understand this album better. It's more all over the place than the previous two, but there's a lot of very sweet moments on this record, and it sounds very cohesive.
Not as much of a fan of this one. It feels like some songs drag on for a little too long. Despite that, I do respect the influence that this record has had on hip hop, especially in the emo rap scene.
Honestly, Drunk and Hot Girls isn't even that bad. Seems like it's a trend to hate on it. That being said, Graduation is Kanye's magnum opus in my mind. It ends the trilogy in great fashion, and cements Ye as one of the greatest rappers of this generation, if not all time.
This is Kanye's second best, imo. It's hard to dislike an album with Diamonds From Sierra Leone, We Major, Gold Digger, Touch the Sky, Hey Mama and more. Such a timeless classic.
Top 3 Kanye. I don't care what anybody says, this is one of his best work ever. You can just feel the fun, the freeness in his music, and still has some of his most classic songs.
Well I'm officially not sure which album is my favorite by Bon Iver after all. This thing is right up there with For Emma. Both of these are some of the best indie folk albums I've ever heard. Arghh...
This is just a beautiful album. It might be Bon Iver's best as well, but the band does have a very strong discography. It's one of the best indie folk record out there, imo.
Why does this album sounds like the male version of Tate McRae's last album? This being the case, I will give it the same review in one word: bleh.
This is the only Denzel album I had never listened. I absolutely regret not giving this a peek before. It's Denzel doing what he does best; rapping his ass off.
Well they have a new fan. I didn't know this band before I heard Landmark, but it's a solid record. Not ground breaking, but very enjoyable.
Yeah let's be honest for a minute here: without Bruno, this album, and that dude's career even, is basically nothing. There' a few interesting songs on here, but not much more than that.
This is a fun album. It's just a very captivating piece of work. It's easy to listen, it feels like an album to listen to during a late night drive on a summer evening in California.
Stratosphere part 2, I guess. It gets redundant, but that's on me, should've waited another day to rate this.
I mean, it's perfect music to study to, or even fall asleep to an extent. I don't see myself coming back to this though. And don't get me wrong, it's still sounds pretty good, but I'm just not crazy about it.
