I was worried when starting this that I would struggle with the 50's a lot due to me not knowing that much about jazz, but I was able to really enjoy this record and have understanding why. I like how sparse this record is, it adds to the eerie feel of this album. I was listening to my liked songs on shuffle in the shower.
Suddenly have to take a MASSIVE dump.
So I get out and I'm soggy and miserable. Then Michael Gira's anguished moans start blasting from my speaker.
I can now see why they called it a soundtrack.

This is what my dreams feel like lol.
This record was crazy. I don't have a lot of notes on individual tracks, but I will start off with what I do have to say. Lonely Woman might be the best song I've gone over so far.
