The groovy instrumentals, which are fantastically layered and performed, work well with the godly vocals coming from Thundercat, or whoever it may be. Definitely my AOTY so far.
Favorite Song: Black Qualls
I thought the instrumentals on this were genius, but I felt the vocals just got carried by them too much, which feel pretty choppy. However, Sarah's vocals are amazing on "Trampoline", and "Hey Parents."
Thumbs up - Trampoline
Thumbs down - Waking Up
On TnP Sarah's vocals sparkle with the absolute genius and incredible production. This is the beats she should be singing over because it works so well. I genuinely have little to no problems apart from Dumps beat.
Fav - Flyway
Least fav - Dump
If MBDTF displays life at peak fame, this is the after party. Ego, alcohol, sex, and all of the inbetweens, Yeezus is an anger-riddled album with loud, ear beating sounds. And its fucking amazing.
