An enjoyable catalogue of tunes summarises a strong debut for Arlo Parks. Although there was nothing especially groundbreaking here, I'll be rooting for her to make an impact into the charts as this is the sort of thing that the chart needs, a smidgen of variety. I particularly enjoyed how she chose to infuse an early 00's aroma to these songs, an interesting and unpopular era to deploy, but it worked really nicely! Overall, I did enjoy this album, though this was the album I feared Lana would release since 'Lust for Life'.

Some really stand out songs, and some very forgettable ones. Absolutely adore '2D', 'Murder' was another standout track. Why? probably because they were the two songs on this album that did not sound like the others, the rest of the album were fairly samey and hard to differentiate. I do not mind the bedroomy chillpop at all, it just needs to be more varied.
Highlight: '2D', 'Murder', 'Red Eye'
Tone: Bedroom Chill, Free spirited
Tier: Orange
Score: 64
Was excited for this release after single 'Hardline' captivated me. However, 'Hardline' was as good as it got, the first track. There were nice moments here and there, but they were small moments, for the most part, the songs were boring in sound and lacking a strong tone.
Highlight: 'Hardline'
Tone: Ponderous, Pensive
Tier: Red
Score: 60
