this fucked me up good. for some reason a lot of the tracks struck something on me; like in Diamond train's bridge is one of the most gorgeous sections I've heard this year. even though it doesn't go anywhere and definitely has a formula, I feel that's kinda of the point. I liked it.

'Oni 2' is an incredible and heavy album and cements as one of their best, maybe I'm this excited because 'Starfire' and 'DETHMASK PT.3' kinda sucked.
The mixing and mastering are thick and noisy in a lot of moments; the production is at their best with a lot of interesting moments, making this album their most dynamic yet. In theory, trip hop and black metal SHOULD NOT work at all... but Foghazer proves the opposite; it truly sounds like Portishead mixed with Darkthrone, it is a gimmick but works so well.
It is a perfect album to listen to in a rainy day, the lo-fi production with the hypnotizing beats that pairs with tremolo-picked guitars with turntable scratches on the background; it truly hooks you in, and you can't let it go.

I fuck with it, always like their melodic side. Kinda of reminded me of Bunny Suit. Elijah's feature could've been way more present and better but not bad at all
