This really sounds like an 'odds and ends' mopping up of the band's leftover material from the late '80s and early '90s. At its worst it resembles a lazy '90s remix album of B-Side material...at its best the 'highlights' still sound like weaker retreads of 'Achtung Baby' material.

Achtung Baby 2: Electric Boogaloo

Riding the creative high that was their rebirth album "Achtung Baby" (1991), U2 rushed into the studio to record a new album, "Zooropa". A combination of left over Achtung Baby tracks and recorded material during their tour, "Zooropa" is U2's most creative and experimental album to date. Is it a hottake that I prefer this to 'Achtung Baby'? I am not familiar with the usual takes surrounding U2 albums. I thought this one was great with the band continuing to go a bit more experimental in their sound and here it really pays off in my opinion.
